SWEET! I'm glad that they're making a new one! I wonder what it'll be like :3 With the DS, there are so many possibilities... the bottom screen could function exactly like a PET :D

IMO, it looks like an X version of Rockman EXE, which would be really cool. Why are so many people against the idea of Rockman X EXE anyway? I don't think it's THAT bad of an idea... I think it'd be nice to have a new setting for the series even more in the future than EXE was.

I'd also like to see a game set more in the cyber world than it was in EXE. I think there's so many possibilities for it. Oh well, either way, I look forward to seeing what it develops into. And man, yet ANOTHER reason to get a DS! *adds it to her list*

I'd rather if they'd hold off on taking from the X Series just yet. They have so much more potential from the classic series. Crashman, Crystalman, all of the Stardroids... and more...

After studying that navi, I'm not sure if that is Megaman. Look closely, the shape of his face and eyes are different. Megaman's face and eyes are rounder, but this guy's features are more curved, he looks older.

But this could simply be the artist. Just because it's drawn in the EXE style doesn't mean that the artists' work has to look exactly alike, I think there is more than one illustrator, and it could simply be because, as many people have said, including me, that he has been upgraded. Personally, I hope that's our neighborhood friendly Megaman.

As for X, I really can't see X in this fellow at all, but then again, if I had no idea what Megaman was, I wouldn't see any of the original Megaman in Megaman.exe either.

Perhaps we'll see something about this at the Tokyo Game Show?

My stand on X Chracters remains the same, I don't care about minor cameos like Zero and Colonel...but to make an X.exe? No...that would take away from the fact that the EXE series is another Rockman.

I personally don't think he looks much like an X.EXE. That doesn't mean he isn't but he doesn't have the design similarities and especially the helmet. The helmet is vastly different to those X wears even in his Armours; not to mention the canine looking Buster.

Well considering it mentions the Cyberworld, saying it becomes deeper and more fun which implies a comparison, I think it's more likely to be a sequel series, rather than a spinoff. I'm not sure if the earmuffs are a Navi symbol though, they seem to large for one thing and the wedge looks more like reflections than a symbol to me.

.... hmm the way the new rockman is standing with the beast head almost looks like the Rockman 7 Attack where Rockman in the rush armor would fire his arm out...... still the new design (points to the Hyper Currying Case Box)
looks pretty cool although it looks like a power ranger.....

Actually, it doesn't look like a X EXE to me. But the artwork clearly says that it's a sequel. I'm rather interested in this *notes the shape of the arm thingy* altough one edge of the helmet and one of his cheeks makes him look a little X-ish, I took my wee time just now in photoshop and removed the red from the visor to make it look... "How it would look (near) without a visor - even tough he still has one.

Piccie! This was me basing off the EXE... and it sorta looks like it.

But meh, as long as it's EXE related I'm fine.

Yeah I seriously hope the speculation about and X EXE turns out be false. It just seems sort of unoriginal if they tried that. They might as well just have him as Rock Man Ace. Wasn't there an X already in the EXE series that red and black generic navi from BCC? I don't wanna see Mavericks EXE. What if they do something crazy like make Metal Shark Player a psycho blue hair girl? (stupid inside joke.)

Guess we'll just have to wait as soon as more information arises. I want that DS game case though. It seems really nifty. Also maybe I can get a better look at that weird animal head he appears to be using as a buster.

Hm, the blue dog looks more like some new partner of Rockman. Their foreheads are awfully alike.

Maybe the designers wanted a dog that was more mechanical then rush?

Or maybe it is and upgraded Rush!
