I personally like the story. It's pretty awesome. Using the power of the sun in order to fight the legions of the undead. It's much better than machine guns to say the least :3

I keep up with news about the Boktai series, but I've never actually played any of them. I've read that Boktai 3 isn't going to be released in English. That's a real bummer - I'll never get to read a game script to find out what happens. All I have to go one are brief plot summaries from people who know Japanese.

What ticks me off though is the difficulty of finding sprites of anyone other than Django and Sabata to look at and the relative scarcity of character art compared to, say, the Rockman.EXE series. I still don't know what any of the badguys from Boktai 1 other than the Count look like, and the only time I've seen anything of the non-monstery forms of Duneyrr, Durathor, and Dvalinn was way in the back of a big pic with all the other Boktai 2 characters blocking them.

And about Boktai...I've played a little bit, and I liked it, but not quite enough to get through the whole thing. I think I had to return the copy I was playing to my friend a few weeks later, so I never knew what happened after that.

Konami's probably not going to release Boktai 3 over here because sales flopped.

I was talking to Kochi of PHK and she said Boktai wasn't as popular in Japan either. Oh well.

Maybe Lunar Knights will raise the popularity so we can have Boktai 3 later U.U

I though Lunar Knights IS Boktai 3, just with different names to try to boost sales. It is a separate game? :O

Yes, it is a separate game. Lunar Knights follows the adventures of two completely different characters and it's for the DS.

I had a dream I bought the Boktai 3 promo bandaids as well as some Boktai cups and a bib. Seriously, I did.

The main character, a Sabata reincarnate/precarnate, is the main character. His name is Lucian. His "sidekick", the Django looking guy, who possibly is only included in gameplay, is Aaron.

Lucian has magical hair, I swear. It's different in every art.
