Gosh! Thank you guys a ton for all the strategy! I guess the strategy one would use depends on their personal strengths in battle and tactics, I guess, but those will definately help. Thanks for the pointers! =D _________________ - Sage |

I was wondering if someone could help me with a little something.
I'm trying to build a new NetBattle folder for EXE 5, but I am missing the following chips:
2 x BugBomb *
3 x Timpani *
3 x Blinder *
4 x Barrier200 W
3 x Kawarimi *
If anyone knows where to find these chips, or an easy way to raid the chip trader, please let me know. _________________

Because I was told to post it here. So yeah....here it goes.
Ok now you all know about Toadmans ability in the liberation missions right? Yeah, well it seems like its IMPOSSIBLE to use, since you have to use it when someone HASNT been used during a phase. So now I ask you guys, how do you use his Special Ability? Because im trying to get EVERY CHIP and because people on Gamefaqs cant be SPECIFIC on how to use it, there's no way I can use it. So can you please explain how I can use it?
I even got what the user said on the guide.
Gives one ally that has not acted, in the 3x3 square
around him, the ability to liberate an area five panels deep
instead of a normal liberation. Lasts one phase.
Yeah so if you guys could explain how to use it. That'd be AWSOME!
Thanks
Oh and Pictures would be nice, along with some GOOD INFO since the info I saw was nothing but junk. |

In order to use Toadman's ability, switch to his part of the phase. If there is any Navi that can move in any of the eight adjacent squares around Toadman, cast LifeMelody. The selected Navi will have a music note floating over his/her head, meaning if he/she manages to liberate a panel, the five Dark Panels in front of the Navi will be cleared. Note that this can go through Barrier Panels, and that I'm not sure if it will disappear if you use Toadman last and the phase ends.
Also, since it apparently went straight over your head, to switch between available team members you must press "R" when the current Navi is standing still.
Frankly, I thought Gamefaqs and the in-game description was quite self-explanatory. :/ |

After trying to figure out how to do it, I finally managed to know how to change navis. It turns out I have to press Y and X to switch navis (I have the DS version, not the GBA version, sorry if I didn't mention that). So now I know how to switch navis AND know how to use Toadmans ability.
Now I feel stupid for even mentioning this whole issue, but I guess thats what happens when you have a problem.
Well thanks for the help anyways. |

I've plowed my way through all three Nebula Lib Missions, taken out all the DS Navis in Nebula 6, beaten the Lord of Chaos, and beaten Forte in both regular and XX form.
So essentially, I've earned all six Continue Screen emblems, and have fully conquered EXE 5.
Except for ONE thing.....Nebula Grey Omega. (the version of him that replaces the normal Nebula Grey as the last boss, after you get Forte's icon)
I figured he'd be a piece of cake after taking down Forte XX, but I was wrong.
4000 HP + double damage for all his attacks = me tearing my hair out.
If anyone out there has any strategies and/or chip folders that can help, I'll be forever in your debt.
Thanks in advance,

All I can say, is that you need all your attacks to hit, you can't afford to miss one with that much HP to knock out. Personally I spammed Chaos Invis as much as I could but that was just me. _________________

I suggest you invest in a good set of Airshoes and use Chaos Unisons, as they do mass amounts of damage if your timing is good, simply release the button when your charge turns red and you'll be fine. Combo-ing this with Invisible is probably recomended. If you have TP, Proto Chaos is good, while Toad Chaos is very good in Colonel, as the range is awesome.
If you think that strat is too risky, try spamming PAs. Since you can't get an S on him (I think...), speed shouldn't be a factor.
All it really comes down to is dodging attacks and performing your own. Mashing the Start button is good to see where he's about to attack.
I hope this helps. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

This thread is being unstuck at the end of the week, it is still expected to be used for questions however.
We were going to unstick it today...but I thought a warning would be good so people can see it.
That is all. _________________

Number 1--SuperArmor. By installing that, you cannot forfeit points on your rank for getting hit.
FootMan is a difficult navi to bust, mostly because Areagrab strategies, which is essential for the SearchChaos bust, fail quite often because of his clones. If you have access to Forte's chip, go ahead and use that because he freezes time and thumbs his nose at the failed Areagrabbing. Other than that, do the best you can with the Areagrab strategy and use SearchChaos and BluesChaos to the best of your ability.
Fastgauge is a must, as it gives you a little under four full turns of chips to defeat him in. Good luck. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! also, having plenty of invis chips and the poison anubis p.a. is helpful. just make sure you activate the p.a. when his clones are off the field...and don't stand in the same row obviously! _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

Another thing you could do is to set up an S folder. There's one listed at gamefaqs that exploits the power of the S code, so make a folder as close as you can get it. Then, set up your Navi Customizer with Custom+ 1 and 2, and deliberately bug Rockman with the Humor glitch. I personally suggest setting Fastgauge * as the pre-set chip.
Then hope for a good draw and blast away. This was the setup I had for going after the S-rank and the DS/SP chips. |

OK im gonna need help AGAIN, but this time it should be a little easier than last time (well actulally last time was pretty stupid since it was really obvious but still).
Ok now im trying to get passed the Nebula Gates in Nebula Area 4 (or 5 I dont know) and for some reason one of the gates requires that I have ALL the STANDARD Chips. So I go back and get as many chips as I cn get but now I need FIVE MORE to get them all and I dont know HOW i can get them. So im gonna need you to tell me what these chips are and how I can get them.
I'll even label their numbers so it'll be more easier on you.
REMAINING CHIPS!

You should try to get Airspin 3 in undernet 2. It's a green mystery data
#126 is Silence. If you've already opened the chaos gate (or whatever you call it that takes you into nebula area 3 or so) the viruses you get the chip from should be in Undernet 2 or factory computers 2 and 3 (the ones you go to at the end area of the game where Nebula Grey is)
#151 is GrabBanish. You can get it at Factory computer 2, SciLab 1, or End area 2. There all GMD
#166 is Barrier 200. You can find it in SciLab 4, Undernet 3, and Nebula Area 1. All GMD
#179 is Navi +20... that one I can't help you on because I'M looking for it >_<
And that leads me to my question.... how DO you get navi +20??? Anyone have any tips??? |

Navi +20 is a Bonus Panel prize if you land on a chip in the first liberation mission against Blizzardman. Save before doing it, get to a bonus panel, and see if it gives you it when you get a chip icon (save with Colonel/Blues right beforehand!). If not, retreat from the mission and try again until you get it. _________________
