Ryuusei no Rockman Discussion! *Spoilers lurk here*

Intense EXE6 Spoilers:

[spoil:6be8b9b069]After the defeat of the two Dennoujuu, one of them threatens to overtake Rockman (the one corresponding to the version). Colonel and Iris merge together and become the full Colonel once more, which is apparently an Ultimate Program. Iris is recovery and Colonel is virus deletion. The new Colonel completely eliminates the Dennoujuu, which causes the internet to reset. (remember that these two beasts were the largest of cyber beings. Their deletion would surely cause some sort of upset) The reset internet is then stabilized by the sacrifice of Colonel (Barrel and Wily die as well as the place explodes in the real world) and thus, a new internet is formed. The Iris half restores damage while the Colonel system keeps viruses off, like automatic security.

Many years later, Netto's old house is shown as an epilogue is given. Yaito runs her business while Dekao is mayor of Akihara. Enzan is head of the Officials. Kojirou becomes a teacher and Asuta is a rare chip collector. A boy is heard waking up inside the old Hikari residence. His name is Hikari Raito. His parents: Netto and Meiru[/spoil:6be8b9b069]

Thus, it would take some powerful criminals to commit netcrime.

Well, that came sooner than I expected. o_o

Looks interesting so far, I hope we get some more gameplay stuff soon... character designs are cool and all, but I'd really like to see how it's different.

Hmmm... so maybe Rockman EXE Beast Plus will run until around December and then after it ends they'll start right off with an anime based on this new series? That'd be interesting...

Dang! I've only been cut off the Internet for less than two days due to a thunderstorm, and when I come back, Capcom spring this on me?? WTF! Sorry, I had to get that out of my system.

Anyway, I'm not sure what Rockman EXE that new one is, but I don't think that one is the Saito, and I hope that's not X. I mean, I'm all for having X in the Battle Network series like the next person - but not if he looks like that.

But I do earnestly believe that the new kid is [spoil:e41ce16617]Raito[/spoil:e41ce16617]. That's my input.

From reading the site, aka Rockman Project, there apparently will be wireless.

Another Data Action RPG the letter says. So the style should be similar to the current EXE though there will definately be changes involving the touch screen.

As for the world of the new EXE, there seems to be a lot of stress on the Wave Roads and Wireless function.

I'm interested on the Wifi capabilities. It's just something that should've been done for Twin Leaders (first). Aside from that, EXE 5 had rockman in the bottom, yet this one has [name] on the top. Meaning that you can even do stuff with the touchscreen on the field and MAYBE the battles are held in the bottom screen for the new nifty features... I empied my current session my mind.

And to top it off with the motorcycle viri... *looks at top* FIREMAN REINCARNATION! XD.

Thanks! ^_^ That answers some questions I had. I'm hoping the gameplay is different from the past EXE games myself. At least for the battle parts. Don't get me wrong, I like the EXE games, but it seemed like they were all basically the same, but with a new twist or little bit of a change in each game. I'm ready for an all-out change.

A Wi-Fi option is great, but I hope it isn't neccessary to hook up to another person with another game in order to play or complete the game. (Four Swords anyone?) Mostly because no one around here but me plays games and I never have anyone to hook up to. Sad

So it looks like the physical world and the network world have merged or something. You can see little guys with e-mails and the "wave roads" in that one pic. I always wondered when they would get to that point in technology. But what's with the lion/wolf head arm cannon? I wonder if that's something left over from Beast or a form or some kind of pet formed from a virus or what... Hmm... I wonder if this will lead into that other game, ZX.

Well, what about the actual characters? Public opinion dictates the protagonist as [spoil:5977d9629e]Hikari Raito[/spoil:5977d9629e], and a recent comment suggests that the big guy has some connection to Dekao/Dex, personally, I think the girl has a Meiru/Netto relationship, but looks like some sort of child of Enzan (from the expression and facial features) and Yaito (from the hair, I mean, who has a significant heritage of Blonde people, except Yaito and Pride-hime?), and the little kid looks like Higure, but in need of an attitude adjustment.

Well...apparently this new series takes place hundreds of years after and the Rockman shown is a different Rockman so anything is pretty much possible with the time gap. Anyone can be anyone's descendant.

It does seem interesting. Going through things like wireless internet sounds interesting. But beyond that, I have no idea what this could be.
And goddra2, they're mettools or mets for short. And I think an antenna met is pretty funny.
