Spoilers to EXE6: [spoil:b51760f0dc]The hero being Raito was only speculation, never definate. That was guessed before it was revealed there was a time gap. The reason there was such speculation was because this hero's navi is also named Rockman apparently.[/spoil:b51760f0dc]

[spoil:51c9383dca]Well with a hundred year time gap between EXE and this new series I really doubt that the new hero is Netto's and Meiru's Son Raito, because he would have to be 100+ years old and the boy we see in the picture is not 100+ years old. now I can believe that this Raito is a Grandson of Netto or even a Great Grandson.[/spoil:51c9383dca]

EXE6 Spoilers Again:
[spoil:faaa302074]The hero being Raito was pure speculation. Speculation does not neccessarily mean it's going to happen. It only seemed likely before because the navi is also named Rockman but now we know it's hundreds of years later and a different Rockman. Therefore I believed we established the fact that it's not Raito, or any other direct descendant after Netto's generation.[/spoil:faaa302074]

So the speculation on the identity of the hero was false. My speculation about the nature of the Denpa Sekai was true. There we have it. Any questions?

So is the part about it taking place hundreds of years after 6 speculation too or is that for sure? And the stuff about it being a totally new Rockman? I guess we need a list of what is fact, fiction, and theory. ^^; Also, does anyone know if this will be kinda top-down RPG like the others, or will it be side-scrolling like the WS? Or maybe something totally different... The very first pic posted in this thread has what looks like screen shots of game play in the upper right hand corner, but they're too small to make out.

Check the link on the first post. Everything included on our front page is what's true, including a new Rockman, hundreds of years in the future, and the speculation on the nature of the Denpa Sekai.

It's a Data Action RPG, just like the EXE series.

I was a little annoyed too that they knocked this sequel back a couple hundred years. But after thinking it over, I'm more-or-less alright with it, it would be completely out-of-character for Lan to just sit back and let the new guy do everything, and constantly coming up with reasons/sidequests to keep him on the sidelines would grow wearisome after a while.

*Waits for someone to shred the above thought into pieces.*

Now if we could just get this guy to stop looking like a Digimon reject...

Anyways, I don't know what's up with the 'Z-ness' all of a sudden. It's like ZX is influencing the entire RockMan world what with the henshins and kid-becoming-RockMan idea... Maybe ZN's just ZX in EXE clothing...

Atomic-fire now has the teaser trailer for 'ZN' from the ZX DVD up for download.

It's mostly just artwork that we've seen already, but there are two brief gameplay clips, one showing the main character, or his navi, I really can't tell, running around, and the other briefly shows a battle.

While the 3x6 grid is still there, the perspective is behind the navi now. This may cause some problems for players because they might be too used to the side view, and it might be tougher to dodge attacks because of that reason.

While I would probably be more comfortable with the side view for said reason, this does look interesting and might even up the difficulty of the game.
