Yes. He's in the game. As for the Anubis chip, it's actually right before the 200 S gate.
Anyway, this game pleased me. It was better than expected. I also don't mind the changes. Without the Cyber Maps, traveling through net areas was a bit challenging. I like challenges so this made the game a bit more fun. At least in my opinion anyway.
I don't understand why Graveyard 1 has been taken out, but that's okay. That just makes it easier. The thing that I was surprised about is that the Boktai stuff is gone. It was a nice touch, but I can live. |

Ending Spoilers: [spoil:1c4eb09edc]Patching is very common for software so it ties in with the theme. Besides calling the kid Right or Light would sound...strange in English. Patch is a reasonably normal sounding name and I believe it is also used (un?)commonly as well. It doesn't sound as cool as Raito perhaps, but for the dub it's not a bad choice and ties in with the recurring themes rather nicely.[/spoil:1c4eb09edc] _________________

It's like everyone else had said is that it's an internet thing. So my question is how does [spoil:eb92dfeee8]raito[/spoil:eb92dfeee8] fit with the whole theme? |

More ending spoilers: [spoil:1a807ffa43]Hikari is the Japanese word for light, Raito is a transliteration of the English word Light. Furthermore Netto's grandfather, Tadashi Hikari is a play on the spellings, as Tadashi is the word for correct, or right which is one romanisation of the word Raito. Also Tadashi is a Japanese version of Thomas I am told.[/spoil:1a807ffa43] _________________

Since everything Boktai except the Gun Del Sol has been removed from the game and I'll obviously never be able to read about the details of it in any game script, what exactly happens in the Boktai side quest? |

You go into the Immortal Area and confront the Count...only you cannot defeat him, so you fight him until Django shows up and saves you. You have to go to Ura Net...0 I think. and find Otenko. Then you can beat the Count. _________________

That's pretty much it.
That area was fairly self-contained...so it could have been excised without much damage to the rest of the storyline. Any of the BMDs that used to be there have either been relocated to other portions of the Internet or have been added to the stocks of other vendors.
Still, this means loss of the Django and Hakukashu chip, the latter of which is quite nice. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Really? So we can't get a django chip? But I liked that chip. It's useful.
And can I ask what the count does? |

The Hakushaku chip used a Blood Rain that hits everything on the enemy field three times, and then a Blood Spike that hit three normal panels, that hone in on enemies.
It's a very useful chip when powered up with boosters. _________________

Seems the programmers of MMBN6(CoA) left a boss battle unfinished.
Some people who hacked the Boss random encounters, found a boss who isnt fully finished yet.
It is a 4000HP rockman 0_o
sadly enough, he doesnt move. They probably didnt finished him or something when making the game.
Do you think that he might have been a replacement for The Count in the US version, but was canceled and thus unfinished? |

That is certainly a possible hypothesis. Where, pray tell, did you find this? _________________

I guess I should clarify - I wasn't so much asking what you do in that scenario. What I really want to know is the story in the scenario - Why is the Count there? Why do you have to find Otenko? What do the different characters say to you or to each other? What information is revealed? Things like that.
If I only wanted to know about what the player is supposed to do in the scenario, I could probably find out somewhere like Gamefaqs. |

My interpretation is that, like in the EXE4 sub-plot, it is merely a small sub-quest that tried to link the Boktai and EXE series together, however loosely.
As for the translation as to what is precisely happening... I believe at least one person's done it, but I forget where. _________________
