@ Makura: The Manga is Awesome!
@YaminoMiko: Shugo is actually dressed up like Kite in "The World".
Personally, I thought they could picked a better dub voice for Shugo (not only is it high-pitched but who the heck is Bryce Pappenbrook?! How about adding in a well known Anime Voice actor?) :]

I have to say my favorite characetr in all of the Dot Hack media, is Kaz. Hes awsome with the halberd... and hes a smartass!

Well, I really don't know all that much concerning .hack outside of DUSK, so I'll focus on that. XD I don't own a PS2, and all I've seen of SIGN is the last 5 minutes of episode 3. >_<; Either way, I've seen the entire anime series of DUSK and mooched off all three volumes from a friend. I adore the series, although I rather prefer the manga. ^_^; Mireille is my all-time favorite.
They did a decent job on the dub, and I actually think Shuugo's voice fits him. Sue me. XD

Sorry, as far as I know, it's only another base-less rumor...
I'm a big fan of Ueden (dusk) myself, but I don't like how they ended whinding up the anime in another way. As for Character, at the end of the second manga Ouka gained my fanatism with her "All these years training myself and I cannot help my friends" phrase while Mirelle and Hotaru were worried about their characters.

@ Nare: Yes, but Hotaru was more worried about her grunty then her character.
@Iceman.EXE: I got used to Shugo's voice. It just sounded horrible at first. :]
