Yeah. It looked nice. Mattel claims it was released and recalled only after a week (I forgot to add that part earlier; gomen)... so maybe the only owners are a couple of eight year olds without eBay knowledge, heh.

Well, if you're afraid Mattel never will release it's Wood Soul figure, there is a pretty cheap Japanese alternative out there. Don't know if you've ever heard of a U.S. site called Wizzywig.com, but I picked one up there thinking it might be my only chance, which you can see here. They've also some small, but great keychains like Tomahawkman and Shadowman (Redemption for not having ACMM vs Shadowman!).

But on that note, I thought I'd share something that might be good news on the Mattel front. I was on eBay a few days ago and there was a seller with five 2-inch figures that I've never seen before. The figures are: Burnerman, Forte, Gospel, Blues, and Roll Soul. A few of them are being sold with a Mattel Search Soul or Metal Soul. While they may not be legitimate (especially seeing how the seller claims they are "sealed 2-packs" and we know Search and Metal were never in 2-packs. Plus the seller is in Malaysia, so they could be fakes or prototypes that the seller painted), they definitely are created to look like Mattel's 2-inch line. So, who knows, maybe there's still a chance will see the new figures out in the near future. Pics below:

Well, I just made friends with a guy who works for Hasbro, and he is going to comiccon. Not just that, but he is also friends with one of Mattel's executives, so he is going to ask for me what is going on with the MM figures. When he gets back to me, I'll post it here.

Plantman - The seller WAS Haroball, link to store here. But, unless you went on an eBay binge yourself, somebody bought every set overnight. Sad

There is still a "Torch Soul and Axl 2"...which is just a Proto Soul...available, if you want to at least see how the seller worded each auction. They were $9.99 Buy it Now for each set of 2, with a $5 flat shipping fee. I never contacted him and his descriptions are a little fishy, but who knows, maybe he's got another set or two if you ask.

Aether - You're welcome. The keychains aren't as detailed as they might look on the site, certain parts might bend easy, staying slightly warped(arrgh...especially Colonel's sword) and they are even smaller than the 2-inch figures, but they're just too cool to pass up! You'll be happy with it.

the Shademan Figure may just be as hard to find as Forte, SearchSoul and Searchman when they first came out..

Well, I don't think that it's that nobody has noticed the Wood Shield figure, it's just not really new news to some of us. This particular eBay seller has sold multiple prototypes of Aqua Custom, Elec Team, Wood Shield, Burnerman and Freeezeman in the past. I can't really give you an accurate estimate of how many or for how long, but if you checked in often enough, they'd show up. We're all missing them in that Mattel hasn't released them yet, cause it seems like it's been at least a year since they were first unveiled at the Toy Fair. But (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't think anyone ever could confirm for sure that the Shademan figure was going to be a part of that set; it always seemed more like a rumor because we never got to see a prototype, until now that is.

While not technically part of the NT Warrior line, I did get some new Rockman figures today.

I give you mini Rock and Roll!

These are tiny 3-inch tall (Read: Smaller than my thumb) figures that each come with two Advanced PET battle chips. Rock came with Area Steal and Flame Line 1, and Roll came with Recovery 30 and Recovery 50.

There are six in the series, with the others being Blues, Gutsman, Fireman and Woodman. If the store where I bought them had Gutsman, I most likely would have gotten him too. :puku:

Gasp! A Roll figure I do not have. :O Just to note, there is a Searchman one too. XD I bought Searchman and Blues at Otakon the year before last.

Must get that Roll. :E
