There is actually something going around about a $100 dollar price cut, but I say only $50. _________________ all i ever wanted was the world |

Probably, since it will have Xbox Live support.
I might get this for the 360, since I'm starting to show interest to the console itself.
Also, am I the only one that thinks that the Shadow stages will only have him driving the vehicle? D: _________________ (Insert sig here because Matt hasn't thought up of a real one yet. D:) |

I think it's a shame that Next-Gen won't come out on Wii, I've heard better things about Next-Gen than Wildfire. Eggman looks a little too thin for my tastes, this suggests that Japan should start calling him Robotnik (which was invented entirely in American dub), because, apart from the mustache and rest of the outfit color scheme, he bears no physical resemblance to Eggman. _________________ Clothes make the man. Well Wii has Wildfire so that's enough I think. It's just their way of evening things out. _________________

I hope not. Because I like shadow as much as some people given his character/background but still, he can do more then that. |

Revive because the game just came out a few days ago! \o/
I personally didn't buy the game myself (I don't have a Xbox360 nor a PS3.), but from the looks of it, asiding from the loading and the usual camera problem (which often lead to sudden pit-fall death), the game looks very well done and the CGs are beautiful. The best part is its music - I listen to some of the game music already, and they are fantastic.
I also went around GameCrazy for some good deal, and caught the guide for sell and read on a shelf. Glanced at a few pages and I think the textures this time is very well done, and from videos, there doesn't seem to be much of lagging like previous Sony/Xbox console Sonic games.
A great news (rumor possibly) is that this game could be out for PC, as it's available for preorder in the UK Amazon, as shown here. There also seem to be saying that SEGA of Spain has been listing the game's PC and PS3 version out in 2007, so expect it if it comes out. _________________

As of now, the only way I'd be able to play Sonic Next Gen is through my PC. After reading many reviews, opinions are too mixed to really sway me either way. I've dealt with the camera, I've dealt with the different play styles, heck, I've even survived Shadow.
I'd like to get my hands on it sometime in some form, but for now, YouTube is my buddy in this case... ._.; _________________

I have read many reviews and opinions myself, and have watched some videos.
Yes, the load times are horrid. Yes, they still use the 4kids VA's. Yes, some of the mechanics don't intrigue me much (ie: the "high speed" sections).
But I'll look past it all and give the game a chance when I can. I have been rather loyal to Sonic since I first got a Genesis, so I can't give up on him just yet. _________________

If it is indeed coming out for PC I will probably get it. As I don't have a 360 and the PS3 is too expensive...you get the picture.
I llike the music a lot, as I write this I'm listening to Silver's theme...at first I hated it but now I love it.
All of Crisis City's remixes are great. I also like the remixes of His World scattered about the game.
You can't let reviews change your opinion about a game you like. They ruined Sonic Heroes for me...and Riders. So I'm not reading any reviews at all...the only thing I don't like for the game is, of course, the voice acting. I'm getting tired of hearing Dan Green...I really am. _________________

Sonic next-gen was flamed the most of the french fans, but Sega of Europe seems to listen to us, since the PC version of Sonic Riders will have the japanese voices ^^'
My father own a 360 (I personally prefer a lot the Wii) so when it's price will drop at least half, I'll maybe take it, but priority to Zelda TP now |

If I had either system, I might rent it. But they probably should have kept it in to work some more. |

Think on the plus side. Maybe all the bad parts about this game mean that Sonic Team is working extra for the making of the Wii title?
Although from the looks of things, Next Gen > Arabian theme for me all the time. _________________

Well I own this game and been playing for it for 2 weeks and as you guys said about the problems like the camera which I didnt have trouble with and the Loading which was somewhat long and annoying when your like in the game but other than that its a pretty good game. I already finished the game 3 days ago and now just working on unlocking te characters for Tag and Battle. Would be happy to answer question about the game.
The one thing I thought was hard about the game was playing with Silver his levels are long >> I got lost in the second live for about 20min's @_@ _________________

They'll fix some of it when the PS3 version comes out. A Wii version would be the game it should be. |
