We have all saw the big battle at the end of Axess, and what a great end to the season that was. So does anyone else feel like the last episodes of EXE where in the wrong place. Because it seem like there was no end to the season if you ask me there should of show ep 52 - 56. Before ep 48 - 51 because if you ask me the virus beast and Bass story line would of been a better end to the season. _________________ Slashman was Slashaman

Heh, that's a good point. The plot of Axess was much better then the first 2 seasons' plot in my opinion. Axess was able to build up and make a huge climax, while the first season sorta... made stuff up till the end.
Still, I love those final episodes of EXE. It was during such a peaceful time, and just wrapped everything up. It explained lots of things for Axess as well, like the creation of the Advanced PET, and finally showed us what Professor Hikari was up to this whole time, the Demension Core, which obviously leads to his Demensional Converter. _________________

Actually, I liked how the english version placed the Chisao episode (which was probably the most important of the random edning filler crap) before the 4-part finale. The Drillman episode DID mention the new PETs, and I kinda sorta liked it (even in english I found it funny ) but still wasn't THAT important. However, the LAST episode was important because it was a big prelude to AXESS and how it was about Dimensional areas etc. |

This is just my stupid belief and all, but I think EXE really ended with the end of the GOSPEL stuff, and then all episodes after that were, well... aftermath and prelude. Ya know, a more interesting alternative to "and they all lived happirry ever after"? _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

It did seem strange that EXE season 2 ended the way it did, but episode 56 was sort of a prelude to Axess. I thought the Gospel should have lasted a little longer though. =/ _________________ .+.~illusion~.+. |

episodes 52-56 are like sequels to a disney movie, they only help the plot a little and they seem to be based more on humor then plot. _________________ 98% of all teenagers have injected a mixture of morphine and crab urine into their eyeballs, if you're one of the 2% who gives a fig about these stupid made-up statistic messages, copy and paste this into your sig. |

Yeah, so basically they're aftermath. Not terribly interesting, but phun if you want to know what happened after the story was through. Or to quote something on one of them Disney sequels "What happens after happily ever after". _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

Season 2 basically ends at 51. The next series 52 - 56 pretty much closes up some final issues (the introduction of Chisao, Command Beef & Higure, Enzan & Netto's rivaly, the new PET in progress, and the Dimensional Area) which also in turn leads to the beginning of Axess. _________________ "Cats are interesting. I can respect the fact that they wanted to tie up the loose ends for the next season, but you can't deny that those episodes take away from the climax of the last Gospel episode. It seems to stretch out the ending after the climax, what I call the "denouement". _________________ Original name: blazequest |

EXE did have a disappointing ending. Not only was the episode not very great, but they just decided to randomly throw in the LifeVirus and have it deleted in that episode. Personally, I think they should have done the LifeVirus arc before they started on Gospel... |
