I actually like the vocal background music (at certain times). It brings a bit of power to the moment that couldn't be easily captured in other ways. The fact that some of it is already in english is a plus. If it's gone it still works, but after seeing how Naruto kept most of it's BGM, I think it might stay. Oh well, to each their own.

On another note I'm huddled with the mass of teeming Bleach fans who cannot wait to see what they do to it with the dub (fingers crossed people). Also... so that's why the vamps came to play? Thought the start of that arc resembled Yu Yu Hakusho's arc where Genkai tested Yusuke and Co. with Yuu Kaitou and that lot. Like Nova better than Mitsunari though. And helpful plushies own.

I like bleach. Since I bought JSS, I've been watching anime that are SJ manga. Lately I've watched One piece, Hunterxhunter, Bleach, and Naruto I'm on ep 12.

Yeah I like the music too. Hey, who's dubbing it? I'm sure it won't be too bad.
Plus adult swim can have a lot of stuff on it. So we might not have to worry about some edits.

I just hope they get Yoruichi-san's name right. For the longest time the manga has been referring to her as Mr. Yoruichi, so unless there is some serious Sailor Stars stuff going on (gender bending/switching) the manga translation is already messed up.

They even got Orihime's attack name wrong (thought big Tsu instead of little Tsu and zigged when they should have zagged- IE Santen Ketsuhun vs. Santen Kesshun).

AS should do a decent job of dubbing (I hope *prays, though not religious).

Well it might not be Wrong since while she was in her Cat form her voice sounded like a man's, and also Ichigo didnt know she was a woman untill she transformed to her Normal Form infront of him

Woah, I just saw ep 17. Intense. Anyway, as I said earlier I watch anime based off of SJ manga, to get to know the characters of JSS. I just found Glintama (sp?) and I'm about to watch the first ep. I know this is kinda off topic, but does anyone here know a little about the series, or is there a topic you can direct me to?

the anime is really good i never read the manga also i didnt know urahara was a deathgod until when ichigo fought ikkaku(i think)this show has many suprises>>

Johnny Yong Bosch as Ichigo may turn out quite nice.
well I didnt think so, so I went ahead and looked up which animes he had VAed in (looking for any I've seen). the two I spoted him in where

Trigun - Vash the Stampede
and Samurai Champloo - Shinsuke (episode 7)

having seen those two animes and listening to his voice, I have decided that he may turn out to be a good voice for Ichigo after.... but we'll have to watch the dub to find out for sure.

Looks good. I've enjoyed Bosch, especially in Wolf's Rain. I'm guessing he'll do something similar.

I find Michelle Ruff an interesting choice, mostly 'cause I think everything I've seen her in she's doing a rather high-pitched, little girl voice. But I'm sure she can lower it for Rukia.

I think it's cute how the VAs for Orihime and Ichigo have worked together portraying a couple before (Eureka Seven, Renton and Eureka). Uryuu's VA has played so many Digimon, I just hope he doesn't sound like that in the dub (He's one of my favorite characters, after Hanatarou). Ichigo's dad has a cool VA, but I hope they don't tear down his personality.

... Um, I think he was talking about how Isshin treats his daughters (very strange behaviour in the manga, I hear).

As for VAs, I feel they should be fairly decent. Most have had enough experience to integrate Ichigo's growlish yell, and Rukia's semi-deep voice. I look forward to seeing for myself.

Anyone know when in Fall this is going to hit Toonami Jetstream, or Adult Swim?

more than likely some of the vocie actors wont fit the characters cuz they are useing some naruto characters voice actors an i dont think a few of there voices are good for bleach (glares meanly at sakura and grassninja)

No dub bashing >: The anime isn't even out yet wtf? and People just say that voices don't fit because they don't know the process, most of the time they get the Japanese voice actor's consent for the English voice actors for really popular shows, such as the process they got the voice actors for One Piece. In other words, they hand pick the person that can best translate their character.

Also, have you noticed that the characters in Blech don't sound 15 at ALL. they sound like they are in their 20's really. That's one thing I'll expect when the Dub comes around. Infact, they don't even look 15, but we're expected to think they are that age. Hanatarou looks 15 despite him probably being physically 12. So if we get something that happens along those lines in the US dub, it's cause the Japanese version did it too. XD

I'm pretty sure that Ichigo will sound his age in the dub, which is nice. His VA does well on Eureka Seven, so he should be good. That is one thing that got to me while watching the original... their voices don't match their ages... good to know that the seiyuu help pick out the english VAs.
