Anyway. This leaves us with an odd amount of Mega Chips (39) and one less PA to work with. At least they gave us the extra jobs and Blues FZ, which is a pretty fair tradeoff. |
Not really...
Hakushaku was a huge strategy for many people's folders cause of the brilliance of the chip.
I'm pretty sure KoA told CoA to remove it because (as I've heard) Boktai 3 won't be released in America.
Now, I don't really get that. You don't need Boktai 3 to get Hakushaku chip series or Django chip series. Not even needed for the Hakushaku side plot. Only for Crossover Battle. They could've just left that alone too! It wouldn't be touched because Boktai wouldn't be there anyway! But meh, I digress. Blues FZ was a nice thing to allow us to have.
But there's so many things we miss out on because of the dubbing process >_<
Oh and as a note to all, You know the code for Spin Pink? Well, it'll give you some sub chip (I think it's sneak run) because you end up getting SpinPink in a Blue Mystery Data in Weather Kun comp...I believe it's 2.
PS: Okay, why do we get to keep Gun Del Sol chips if Boktai 3's not being released in America prevented us from having Django and Hakushaku? _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

The reason that the GDS chips were kept, at least in my view, is that it was such a presence (being in EXE4 and 5, and somewhat useful chips there too) that it almost demanded a reserve in EXE6, despite a lot of Boktai material removed for lack of the game in English. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Out of personal curiosity, was the virus-breeder/battler-thing brought over in the NA version? |

Yes, it was. It's not exactly a breeder; it's more like 'find the rare virus and kill it to capture it', then using it in various battlers. Although no changes have been made to the battlers themselves, the reward at the last one has. Since DjangoV3 was the prize there, they have changed it to Super Vulcan, which is somewhat annoying when you're out gathering all of the Standard Chips (since the Mark of M gate doesn't exist in the English version). _________________

I'm looking for the chip SuprVulc V. I heard that it's in a PMD packet in Underground 2, but I've checked everywhere and haven't found it. Help! |

Ok there's two things i'm wondering about
First off I don't get how Grega was created. I cought something about him [spoil:f8718be4b2]being born from gospel[/spoil:f8718be4b2] but nothing else.
Also you know that danger music at the end? I've beaten the game and it WILL NOT GO AWAY >.< Is there any way to stop it or is it EXE 4 all over again? |

[spoil:a6c6fcfe10]A long time ago, some BugFrags came together on the Net and fused together. Eventually, a Multi-Bug Organism was born (EXE2 anyone?). That was Greiga. Gospel was mentioned by Mayor Cain in order to illustrate how Greiga was born. So, technically, Greiga would be Gospel daddy or grand-daddy or whatever.[/spoil:a6c6fcfe10]
And the danger music won't go away. You're stuck with it.

In theory if you had saved before the danger music started up in the background, and you didn't save at all after that, you would revert to the original music after defeating the final boss. But then if you saved after you continued on in the plot and saved, you would be stuck with the danger music...Plus if you died on the final boss you would have to re play a whole lot of plot over again. _________________

Well, if I remember correctly, this refers to the portal down to the right side, on the cutoff before the merchant, no? Or are you referring to the other gate at the top left? _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Shot in the dark, very slim chance of hitting anything. But has anyone ever gotten SuperVulcan anywhere else besides the virus battler, in the English version? I have such a dismal time at the battler that I'd have a better chance of getting Bass to sit down for tea with Megaman ~__~ _________________

Ah.
In that case, I believe that you need to speak with a program inside a machine. If you go to Seaside Town, outside the Aquarium, there is a small terrace before heading up the path into the aforementioned building. The tanks here will be the site of one of the Virus Battlers (third, I believe) and to the left, there should be a stand that sells fish sticks, if I recall correctly.
Plug into that, and a program in there will sell it to you. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! From Television City in Hollywood! It's time to 'Press Your Luck!'--Rod Roddy

Regarding my most recent post, just noting that I found SuperVulcan in the BugFrag Trader in Underground 2, in case anyone else has the same problem. _________________

I'll note that you can also get SuperVulcan in a Golden Mystery Data, although the chances are very, very slim. In fact, I think you can get most of the rarer chips (Such as Neo Variable Sword, SuperVulcan, etc.) this way, although it is very unreliable and it would probably be better in the long run just to get the chips the normal way. _________________

With those kinds of puzzles, there are a multitude of solutions, so a discrete order is pretty much impractical.
However, I will say this--remember one rule. If you strike a spirit while its back is turned completely away from you, it will die, regardless of color. Thus, my advice, rather than to just take it in a set path, is to first take a good look around and find optimal places to snipe out a lone spirit or take out several while their backs are turned.
All of the solutions of the puzzles are somewhat redundant; that is, you are given more than you are required if the ideal solution is used. Thus, you have a bit of leeway in your decisions.
Remember to always look around first before you give things a try. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks!
