What is your favorite version of Rockman?

I loved Classic, but you know .EXE is more fun for me. Not sure why.

I'd have to say the X series because it was what got me hooked on Rockman, but at times I prefer the EXE series because of all the unlockables.

I like the EXE series, but classic got me hooked so... can't argue with me liking the Zero series, though it makes me mad sometimes (cannot beat some bosses).

I would have to say that my favorite is the X series probably cause I suck at the classic. hehe. And probably cause I'm a Zero fan. I havent't played the Zero series enough yet but I'm getting there.

My favourite Rockman series has to be the X series, I'm sorry to say. I always liked the darker tone of things. I remember playing it and wondering the whole time whether or not the Hunters were really the "good" guys at all. I wanted the Irregulars to win, which isn't a good frame of mind to be in when playing a game! I also think because this was the first time I saw Robots as having personalities. X8 was the most fun I'd had playing a platformer in a long while too, even if the final level was annoying. XD I also guess I felt really sorry for X. It was one if the first series in any video games I really got interested in the characters. Lot of fun memories. *Heart*

My favourite version of Rockman himself though, has to be his .EXE incantation! He's just so adorable. You can't help but love him. One of the only times the main character has been my favourite was with this series, so I guess it holds some special place with me too. Every other series has it's merits but yeah.. I guess these two win it for me. XD

When I first read the post I thought you meant which "Rockman" do you like, not series. XD

My favorite over all series would have to be X. Gotta love the darker plot lines with more drama and angst.

Probably if there was more to legends other than what little they've released it'd be one of my top favorites if not favorite, but I've only managed to find #1 and it's kind of hard for me to be addicted when I've barely skimmed the serface of the series...

Heh, Id have to say my favorite Rockman series would be........well i guess a tie between X and EXE. X is fast-paced and very easy to get into adn EXE is well .... teh UbErZ!!!!!!111!!!!!!!11!!!

Anyway on that note, i would also have to say that ZX......gonna steal the show for me. Laughing

Yet for some reason i do not like the originals and/or DASH. I just couldnt get into them -_-;

The X series because I'm actually good at the games, the games are in my opinion the most fast-paced and fun out of all the side-scroller MM games, it's got bishounenish robots, and a dark and angsty storyline. Definitely a plus for a fangirl like me.
