I don't give a crap about twhat the characters look like, it's just the battle system that makes it look so terrible. The game should have WiFi too for obvious reasons.

Well, we don't know what exactly the Battle System is.

The bottom screen could still be side-view just like all the rest, but in 3-D, and the top screen could just show from a different angle or something.

Plus, we still only know around 1% about the game. ^_^;

It sounds interesting...the names are a bit confusing though.

From what I understand, Subaru becomes Rock, while Rock himself becomes his Buster...so that beast head is Rock?

The beast head is the head of War Rock, Subaru's partner, an FM, which is an alien version of an navi in a sense.

Names are confusing??? I already memorized them all. (well actually, I found it easier to memorize their translated meaning and then working from there) :]

I like the look of Rock! I hope he has a personality to match his looks as he appears to have quite a fearsome and bestial appearance. It looks like the series is taking interesting turns.

Interesting... Kinda weird looking, but I like how the battle system looks a bit more from those screens than from the trailer.

Might just be because it's not animated though, dunno.

Maybe, if this game is bad, they will continue with the Battle Netowrk series.....

From what ive seen thus far, i dont like it.

They may release more Gaidens. Personally I'm hoping for an EXE version of Rockman V

Okay, to everyone who says they are taking a step back... hasn't realized the whole Aliens and Radio Wave things that has been going on for forever. Infact the more I thought about it the more it made sense. It's not so much a step back as it is something people have been doing for a while.

The battle style also has a Super Adventure Rockman style to it, but they've improved on it. I'm going to guess that you're limited to 4 attacks per turn and there are 6 cards that get shuffled every turn. That's the impression I get, anyways... plus there's apparently 'DX' forms for Rockman, but the info on this is limited to them just being Ryuusei figures being released in October... >:

However I still can't see how this is 100 years later...

I expect this game to come out sometime in December, hopefully, like exe... e.e

Pegasus Rockman, Leo Rockman and Dragon Rockman are the forms of the figures slated to come out. Since this is all spoilers, it wouldn't make sense to put a spoiler tag on that... but, eh...

Also we will be getting a device called a 'Transfer', similar to a PET. Using the Transfer we can connect wirelessly for Versus battles and such. These Transfers will also be available in Pegasus, Leo, and Dragon versions.

hmm leo, pegasaus, and dragon arent they all constellations? what there are going to be different versions and each version gets a different form

I think the battle field is actually still the same dimensions, being 6 x 3; if you look at the pictures of the fight against Ox-Fire Subaru/Rockman is standing very close to the screen such that there must be an extra row that you can't see. I think just this time they changed the view to be behind the player so the battles have a perspective closer to that of Rockman.

I'm not sure about whether they're constellations or not, but if I remember right Leo, Dragon and Pegasus were all in Saint Seiya which was based on stars too so it's a likely coincidence.

Yeah they were and they are. Maybe they'll make one based off of my sign. It could a lot like centaurman from the classic series.

Perhaps the FMs are based on the Zodiac as well, after all there is an Ox in the Chinese Zodiac...and War Rock does like a little dragon-ish.
