There's a new Dragonball Z fighting game coming out next month by the name of Super Dragonball Z. It's a fast paced 3D Street Fighter style fighting game with mid-battle transformations. It only has 18 characters, but it still looks cool. _________________ Check out my latest comics series, Our Superhero is the Village Idiot!, at http://z6.invisionfree.com/Megaman_EXE_Board/index.php?showtopic=290&st=0#entry5681773 . |

DBZ Video games just get repetive. It overuses the oringal storyline over and over. Same Characters, attacks etc. I stopped buying after BudoKai 3. _________________ Xbox Live Gamertag username:

Dragonball finished up in 1996, ten years ago, and had one of the most repetative, drawn-out stories ever. (OMG I'm going to power up for the next ten episodes).
The games can't possibly do any more for the series anymore. I think we can move on, now. I wouldn't be surprised if this was an American-made game, though. Nothing like squeezing every last drop of money out of something.
That's my opinion, though. I actually really liked DBZ back in the day. _________________

I'm shocked people still give a damn about DBZ. The most I'd like to see in DBZ is more MUGEN characters. |

Here's the trailer for it. Looks kinda cool actually, and it was develouped by someone who worked on Streett Fight II, which means it'll be pretty different from the Budoukai games. Not that I'm sure you guys actually care. |

So, you could do that in all the Budokai games. _________________

Shocking, this game looks like it could be as good as Hyper Dimension was once. It kinda reminds me of Naruto Nurutimete Hero 3 as well.
With the card feature, it'll probably be pretty good. Heh, stupid of me to doubt it. |

The only appealing thing I can see about this game is that they're including the original Dragon Ball characters, which I always enjoyed more than the Z and GT characters. (Kid Goku > all) Budokai 3 was actually a pretty satisfactory game, so if this essentially ends up being Budokai 3 with more characters and features, I suppose it'll be worth a buy. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Initial Reaction: "Noooooooooo!!!!"
Second Reaction: Well that doesn't make sense. I distinctly saw King Piccolo and a younger Chi Chi, with the Power Pole, no less, in the trailer. Are you SURE Kid Goku won't be in the game? _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

To be honest, I agreed with Zippo at first.
I love DBZ just as much as the next person, but I too believed that the games should end now that the popularity of the series has waned.
But then I saw the trailer for Super DragonBall Z, and I was just......wow.
That game is just.....frickin' sweet. It reawakend some of my past DBZ love.
For me, at the very least, it deserves a rental. |

As of now, there are 18 known characters in this game. They are Goku, Teen Gohan, Adult Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, King Piccolo, 16, 17, 18, Freeza, Cell, Future Trunks, Chichi, Videl, Mecha Freeza, Krillin, Fat Buu, and Majin Vegeta. They are believed to be all the characters in the game, so Kid Goku's appearance is unlikely. _________________ Check out my latest comics series, Our Superhero is the Village Idiot!, at http://z6.invisionfree.com/Megaman_EXE_Board/index.php?showtopic=290&st=0#entry5681773 . |

From what I hear DBZ is still huge in Japan. And it's been almost a decade since the franchise finished it's run over there. |

I'm assuming they're pumping up the merchandise because of the increase in demand from Western shores. _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |
