|
|
Well, I'm receiving my first paycheck for my summer job on Friday, and I'm thinking of using some of it to buy a DS game, seeing as I only have 3.
So, what DS games out there do you think I should get? Something that is fun and has good gameplay, that is what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

The Mario games, Castlevania, Metroid Prime Hunters, or Advance Wars are probably your best choices, although it'd help if you told us what kind of games you like. |

if you don't already have it, metroid prime hunters, or if you just want something casual get brain age. But pretty much all the DS games I played have good gameplay. |

The 3 I have are MMBN5 DS, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, and Supersonic Warriors 2.
I'm thinking of checking out Sonic Rush, as I've heard many good things about it, but Super Mario Bros and Metroid might be worth a look too.
My favorite genre is RPG, but I'm open to most other genres.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

If you like strategy and online play, you could try Lost Magic. I have it, and it is very entertaining. The New Super Mario Bros. is fun too, but a little too easy in my opinion. Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time is a very good game, so it is definately worth a try. _________________

For now, the only game I have on the DS is NSMB. It's good, I'll admit, but as many have said, somewhat easy for seasoned Mario players. Still, it's a Mario game, and has the flavor of the original titles. It's definitely a good recommendation.
For AC:WW, I've heard it is a splendid game and a lot of the people here seem to play it online, along with MKDS. Both seem to be good choices.
For the puzzler in you, Meteos or Polarium. I prefer the latter to the former, actually. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! That was the trouble for me with it; it seemed far too easy.
I'd suggest Animal Crossing and Mario Kart DS, they're both very fun games. I found Lost Magic to be a little lacking, but it was otherwise pretty good. I'm also considering a couple of new DS games, probably Trauma Center: Under The Knife or Jump Superstars. _________________

Here's a list of games that should interest you:
Star Fox: Command
Final Fantasy III
Children of Mana
Mario Kart DS
Big Brain Academy
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
Megaman ZX
New Super Mario Bros.
Tetris DS
Metroid Prime: Hunters
I've heard good things about all of these, and I own three of them. Hope the list helps! |
