Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Really? Those games are coming out so soon? Wow! I'm not really a huge fan of Ranger, but Dungeon looks awesome (actually playing as the Pokemon is nice, and the element of moving in battle is good).
Rangers does look interesting, but only because I like the character Hinata (the Pokemon ranger from episode 430 ENG, 432 JAP). As for the battling (or lack thereof)... it looks pretty silly (tops? I mean, come on!).
I'll be getting both, either way (*is sucker for Pokemon games).

I haven't seen or played a pokemon game in ages. I tend to stick away from the console versions...

I guess by console you mean things like Pokemon XD and the like... but the GB/GBA/DS are all a type of console too (at least I think so). They are a platform at least. This game looks to be a good one, and those two look interesting as well. The scorpion pokemon is my pick for a new powerhouse (only one weakness? They are doing this an awful lot lately).

One thing I hope this game brings to the table is a pure-flying pokemon. It's been needed for the longest time. I personally think it would be worth it to make a legendary pure-flyer. A 100+ damage Fly is too good to pass up!

I don't hate the console versions GC/n64 ect. It's just that I tend to stick away from them for some reason. I don't know why...

Oh, and a new Pokemon was reavealed today, it's a evolution of Roselia. This Pokemon is called Rozureido.

and yes, I am glad they have made this game Wi-fi compatiable. That means maybe we will be able to enter tornaments without travelling.

Awesome, a Roselia evolution. I hope it's fast enough to be super-competitive now (or at least average). Maybe it will be more like Cacturne now (as in super-powered special, but average speed and defenses).

I'm looking forwards to it.

Roselia was one of my favorites that I couldn't use and this looks like a pissed off Pokemon version of Tuxedo Mask.

It may be called Korobooshi. But, it is not a definate name.

For some reason, that thing looks a lot more like a penguin to me.

Hope we get a bigger pic soon, it looks kinda interesting...

I like the Sneazle evolution. Sneazle is one of my favorites, but he just seemed kind of "incomplete" without any evolutions. The Mr. Mime baby is a little... odd, though. -_-;

But yeah, I can't wait for this to come out. If they leave Victreebell out of these games, I will be very sad.

He evolved by every elemental stone, except grass in every game thus far.
Or there will probably be a different eevee evo, why else let May have an old 1st gen pokemon, namely eevee?

A Roselia evolution? That has the potential to be one whoop ass little flower. Roselia had such an awesome moveset, but such horrible stats. And I've gotta agree with Pyo. The other new one looks like a penguin, an evil little penguin.

Okay so, someone over on Gamefaqs managed to find a Japanese site from someone who played the demo, and can give the stats of the playable Pokemon in it. I tried calculating base stats but turned out to suck horrifically at it, but I can give a general idea of what each guy's like, at least.

Lucario: It's stats are fairly basic mixed sweeper stats. High attack/S. attack/Speed, low defensive stats.

Pachirisu: Unfortunately, unless it either evolves or has some awesome defensive/annoyer abilities, this thing is gonna kind of suck. It's speed and special defense are good, but otherwise it's stats are pretty low.

Roseraid: Super Roselia with speed. Not much more needs to be said. Razz

Drapion: This thing surprised me the most.
It's highest stat is defense, nothing really out of the ordinary here... But it's second highest? Speed.
Stats are fairly decent all around. High Defense/Speed, Good (although I believe the tiniest bit below the set average) attack, slightly below average S. Defense and low HP and S. Attack.

So based on that and the exact stats, I'm guessing...
Roseraid's gonna be a lot more useable than Roselia was.
Lucario probably won't be legendary, but maybe could evolve and it'll probably be pretty overused anyways.
Drapion could be a pretty good standalone Pokemon, but has a pretty high chance of evolving.
Pachirisu really needs to evolve if it's gonna get much use.

That sounds interesting. I'm already probally going to use lucario and dorapion, I just have to see the stats when it comes here to decide.
(I always train 6 different teams of pokemon)
