Gamespy.com has released a small amount of information about a compilation package for EXE 6 for the DS system (like Twin Leaders) due for release on New Year's Eve 2006. The link is here. _________________ Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.

Doesn't really seem to confirm a DS version, to me. >_> Everybody and their dog speculated they'll make an EXE6DS, since they did it for EXE5. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

There was a release date for the GBA Megaman Anniversary Collection as well. Where did that go? _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

I got the Anniversary collection for the XBox but haven't really had time to play it. A GBA version would be great for me to kill time with on the train to work (though MMBN5DTDS is currently doing that along with New Super Mario Brothers)
Anyways, IGN lists it as TBA: http://gameboy.ign.com/objects/623/623257.html |

The GBA Anniversary Collection was going to have the five Gameboy games.
It's had multiple release dates but it has yet to be released.
Boktai 3 had a release date of December 31st 2005, and it was never released. _________________

...Capcom has PROBLEMS!! But, didn't this kind of thing happen with Zelda's Twilight Princess? _________________ Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.

Twilight Princess was delayed because they wanted to add more stuff to it. Now it's being released on the Gamecube and the Wii as a launch title. _________________

I hope they make a DS version. Not only is it easier but it's better with the map you can get on the DS. And the extra navis you can use to help fight does help a lot. |

MMBN5 is actually the first MMBN game I've played (I never had a GBA). I would love to see a special version of 6 for the DS as I LOVE using the touchscreen to do stuff. There's just something so cool about it.
They can take their time with 6 for the DS though, as I'm still working through 5 right now. |

Sounds like pure speculation from what I understood. They said a DS Version may be in the works, the small blurb basically says that there are only the GBA versions & that there might be a DS version, there seems to be no hard evidence that there is an actual DS version, The only thing is the release date, but that will change if there is an official (By Nintendo or Capcom) DS Version announced |

For what? the GBA MegaMan Anniversary Collection or EXE6DS. Read the previous post, they discuss how EXE6 DS is just a pipe dream, ans isn't even confirmed yet, and The Anniversary Collection just sort of fell off the face of the earth. _________________

I'm holding off until BN6 comes out for the DS before I buy it. Hell, I've yet to have teh chance to play BN5. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

They wouldn't release an EXE6DS, simply because it hurts one of Capcom's biggest money milkers. Especially with the Link Chip compatibility between Battle Chip Stadium, EXE6, and the Link PET_EX. The system otherwise known as the Navi Link System between the three different ways to slot in chips.
Ryuusei no Rockman has been announced as well. This shows they are moving on. EXE5DS was simply a summer-time project for the EXE team just like Battle Chip GP and EXE4.5 Real Operation.
The last Combo Pack that was released by American News was a month later confirmed to be the [urlhttp://www.capcom.co.jp/rockmanexe/exe6/dx-edition.html]Beast Link Gate DX Edition[/url] for two different versions.
You never know though. We very well may see something like an EXE4 Double Pack or EXE5 Value Pack that comes with a Modification Card. Hopefully they'll put Punk in one since he'll be the only card I'm missing after I obtain Meijin's Perfect Customize. It'll most likely be confirmed for a September release if they release anything.
If we don't see that, then there will be a strong possibility of Battle Chip Stadium coming to console. Capcom is also known for bring Arcade games to console especially. _________________ EXE & Shooting Star Rockman Series Blog |
