Dimentional chip

I was wondering why the good guys have not try to dissemble the Dimentional Chip and use it againist Duo , Slur and the Asteroid Navis.
And why Netto's father has not experimented with it?[/spoil]

Yes of course in Stream episode 19 with Napalmman in it.
Manabe ejects the Chip out of Napalmman's PET and he returns to his PET.

You know, now that you mention it did whatever happened to that chip. Did they give it to Nenji so he can use it in the future?

Seriously, that's a good question. What ever happens to the Dimensional Chips after the Navis are defeated? Like Plantman. (He never deserved to live anyway) Or even the navis that are still alive?

The chip when slotted in to a PET might reminds the Navi of him being an asteroid Navi and his mission is to help his operator create chaos.
So the chip cannot be used.

P.S. Anyone like this theory?

If they really wanted to, they could get the two dimensional chips from Mameo and Yui or from Iriya. Since they really have no more use for them.

Isn't this argument similar to the reason that the net police didn't just pluck the dimensional converters from a dimensional area in Axess after a Darkloid was defeated?

For some reason, they never got their hands on one until Laika blasted one. Obviously, since it was damaged when Searchman destroyed it, we can rule out that it doesn't matter if it's damaged or not, it can still be used for study. So the only other possible explanation is that they dissapear.

Maybe the theory applies to the dimentional chips. You know, I wish the writers would take this into account and just tell us what happened to them!

Maybe that the Dimentional Converters also returnes to Dr.Regal after the Area has been deactivated.
