I have started doing some Sprite Work recently, mainly on mughsots to try and edit them to look like another character and stuff.

This is my first piece of work - I made it using Rockman.EXEs mugshot and this picture from Planet Megaman - http://www.planet-megaman.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=26&pos=43

But anyway, here is the finished picture

I know it still needs some work on it, but I'll do that later on.
Tell me what ye think!

It's too jagged looking. I think you need to add some more shading.

I think its too blunt, it needs blending into the helmet so it looks more like the style used.

Just did a bit of editing to it. This new version includes shading, an altered mouth and new coloured outlines

the metal head scarf neads blending into the background still. Its still a bit pixelated and jaggedy but apart from that its fine methinks.

I don't really see a difference between those sprites.

Well, I like it

But like Kirbycuzin...its not quite there yet..

Maybe you could use a dark gray but not black on the

outside of the band thing. That is what is making it rough

Looks a bit bulky. I suggest smoothing it out a tiny bit...

Fix the mouth guard things. I suggest you try using the line tool, but pay careful attention to the pixels, if they are done in even lines, then chances are your overall image won't look all jagged.
I hope that helped you somehow..

I don't think the mouth guard things have green colors on them either. Unless I'm color blind..

All the dark outline lines need to be a lighter colour unless you want it to be outlined, in that case darken the lines.
