We now return to our program in glorious TECHNICOLOR! Here's what I'm pretty much considering my finished entry for the swimsuit contest, although I may have a few touchup issues. Me and my crappy shading skillz. This is the High Quality version, since I've got to shrink it a bit due to the contest rules. If you've seen my other stuff, you know I like 'em more HQ. Sorry 56k'ers. I've got my work cut out for me with all the good entries popping up lately...
Sigh...twice this week my photo program hit the dreaded "critical error that causes the program to shut down," so I lost a good 3 hours of coloring and had to start from scratch. On top of that, my stupid ancient program doesn't like me doing more than 3 layers of colors on top of one another. After that, it starts pixilating portions. So if anybody notices any odd discolored squares, please let me know. I think I got them all with my cloning tool the past hour+, but a second set of eyes always helps. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

TOMAHAWK SWING!!!
...but not what you were thinking, Tomahawk fans. If you remember me being stupid with renaming beach themed attacks, you'll understand this stupidity. Just a quick doodle I did today having fun with that little phrase, so it's pretty chibi-ish and not super proportional or anything. And he looks more depressed than what I was aiming for, but, eh, it was a quicky. Never raise your tomahawk arm on a rope swing, kids. I'll probably color it in soon. I realized there aren't too many specialized character attacks you can do this with at all, and the few others are really stretching it for humor. "Ice Cube," with Iceman dressed as rapper/actor Ice Cube? Yeah...I'll stay away from drawing that. :eyes: _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

ARRGH! The pun!
Although, I can't help wondering why the little totem pole guy doesn't fall through the center of the tire swing. There's nothing holding him up ... |

Um...(think of something quick, something quick... -_- you can easily slide a small 2x4 piece of wood into a tire swing, which you wouldn't be able to see, unless you had x-ray vision, at this angle! It would hold, since you have that little hollowed-out lip for it to balance on without sliding. That's the ticket! Or, if you go by the anime, totem-sama is a little less of a wooden carving and more of an actual virusy kinda thing and actually has feet to stand on, so it could balance itself on those edges. Of course, I tried to keep it more flat and carved here, but, uh, that's the laws of EXE physics for ya!
...note to self...think quick doodles through a little more in the future... _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Apologies for the double post, didn't think I'd actually get this colored today, too. Enjoy.

Sweet, my first triple post. Now before I get to the new pic I'm working on, I'd just like to say, please kids, if you're on medication, be sure to take your pills before you look at fanart. It's safer that way and I don't want any lawsuits coming at me. :puku:
Yet another "I'm taking a short break from editing so have a rough sketch" pic. Eh, I usually wait to see if I can get critiques before I move on to inking/coloring. If you saw my last pic, you knew I was stretching it for ideas. So this time around, I used a little bit of real life to get inspired. Poor Planty's got 2 strikes when it comes to getting a Shademan prototype figure. And, well, maybe she's feeling some grief for apparently almost killing a kid with her art and needs a pick-me-up. Who knows? So, in hoping the third time's the charm, I think it's best she looks to the black market. Why, it looks like I've found somebody who's got the goods! I'm working with everything as an individual piece, so once I find a good dark-alley background, the pieces might fit together better. Obviously, it's more of a crappily thrown together job right now, so you guys can get an idea of what it'll look like. My first time drawing either Shademan or Laserman.

The royal beach ball is hilarious. And so is the tomahawk swing. While the one with princess pride... Very nice. That's all I'll say. Lucky laika. ha ha ha |

Awww, here I was working on a funny bit about what was going to happen to me and to my thread if I had to quintuple post, and now I can't use it! Guess I'll have to wait until another major downtime. Thanks for the comments Unknown.
Well, Planty, if you'd like to consider this a "good luck getting Shademan next time" gift, by all means, go ahead. Here's my finished work involving rare Rockman merchandise. Probably needs to be read counterclockwise/from the right to the left, just to make that overly obvious to everyone.
The next thing I'm working on won't be posted until it's finished, unlike I did for my past few rough sketches. Let's just say it involves 2 characters from a totally different show, along with Netto and Rockman, and the premise is "why EXE 7 got rejected and will never be made." Cause I'm twisted like that... _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Character crossover time! Really, this is one of the stupidest ideas I've had. Stupid in a funny way, but still pretty bad. It'll speak for itself. I don't know why I keep making pics that read right to left. Reading too much manga or something. I gave up making a real detailed background, nothing looked right to me. I'll throw a PG-13 rating on it for some mild language and alcohol-related themes. Nothing horrible, there's worse language in the fansubs, but I'll play it safe.

I'm sure that after seeing my last pic, somebody out there was going, "Please don't tell me you're thinking of drawing that." I was asking myself, "You aren't honestly going to do that next, are you?...are you?!!" OH YEAH!!! Time for a new craze to take over the REO nation! Sorry Shark Soul fans, that idea's 15 minutes of fame are over! That's right, Rockman + Kool-Aid Man = Kool-Aid Soul!
...I'm such an idiot... _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Those last two pictures of yours are some of the most twisted ideas I've ever heard. That's a good thing, though, as they're both quite brilliant.
The Kool-Aid Soul, most specifically, is going to stick in my mind for quite a while, if only because of the head. ._. _________________

Man, if I saw that burst through my wall, I would definately pull a Dane Cook! XD
Good job with having the insanity enough to think up this. XD GOOD WORK! Dane Cook is a stand up comic. Since my brother has lots of comic CDs and I watch Comedy Central enough, I at least knew what they were talking about. I really don't remember how it goes off the top of my head, but there's a wikipedia entry! Dear Lord, how low have I sunk that I now go there for the first time ever to find this quote? Essentially, the joke starts out like this (edited for safety) and is why he says "Not-so-Kool-Aid":
"And I'll tell you what dream really scared me when I was a little kid. That would totally completely give me nightmares. The Kool-aid comercials. Remember those Kool-Aid commercials? Where that big, talking bowl of punch, he would come crashing through your (bleepin') wall in your living room? You wouldn't even know, he'd come like, KSHHRRPH!! "OH YEAH! OH YEAH!" And the little kids were all excited, "Yes, yes!" and then they would drink out of him, after debris fell in his open, dumb head. He would pour himself, "OH YEAH! OH YEAH!" Him and his crazy tights. I don't like that! I don't like when juice wears tights! It's a horrible combination... a bowl of juice wearing tights." _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Funny, that Kool-aid guy suddenly reminds me of something from Perfect Kirby 3.3 in the Newgrounds site. |
