Okay, so I saw Plantman's thread about this book awhile ago, so I deceided to buy it. But I feel like I was ripped off. Now, it is a very good book, but the cover shows 2 pictures I simply cannot find in it. I've searhed and searched, but I need help. On what pages are the young Netto/Meiru pics and the Phoenix/Death Phoenix pics?

The books has Rockman/Blues/and Forte on the front if that helps.

I noticed the Pheonix and Death Pheonix missing too. I assume it's just a blown up version of the chip image without the background. As for the other stuff I don't think they could fit everything in the book, though it would have been nice if they'd put in the extras too.

Yeah. I'm not complaining. It's a great book. It's cool to see how the characters looked in their rough draft stages, but that's a bit misguiding. Why put those on the cover if they're not in the book?

The book's great, don't get me wrong. Almost every chip, almost all the NPCs, I kinda wished that the anime only characters were in there too, but I can live without sketches of Slur or Sanukiman or such.

I'm glad it had every virus, minus the Transmission viruses(Wish those were there) though.

There's still a lot missing, and it's odd how certain characters got less sketches than others (for example, Roll and Gutsman having to share a third of a page each with the other third being a huge logo heading, whereas Glide gets an entire page to himself)... But, for the most part, it's a great reference book.

First of all, the chance of it coming here is about 80% against us, since "Phantom Network" never came stateside. You don't need to read japanese at all to get it, since most of the book contains official art and sketches.

Scan? I'd love to! ^_^ ..........but I don't have a scanner/printer.Sad

It's not perfect, but the book is pretty close to compleation.

The book has some info not known in the games as well. For instance (I don't know if I should count this as spoilers or not, but I'll put it as such just incase): [spoil:360628a5f6]Metalman's op Tamako is Mamoru Urakawa's aunt. The pink kimono wearing owner of the Ura Inn in EXE 3, named Kimie, is Mamoru's mother and Tamako's older sister.[/spoil:360628a5f6]

Hehe, Josuke-kun gave me that info, but I read it for myself, and it's official and still kinda bizarre to believe. =P

As for scans... If I get the time, maaaaybe I can try to get a scan or 2 from my copy.

Is that who that pink haired girl is next to Tamako? Cause I don't see a pic of the Ura Inn lady anywhere, even as a mugshot.

Oh, no, the pink haired lady was also Tamako, but a concept sketch that never made the final cut. I don't know if anyone remembered back then, but there was a lady, who wore a pink kimono, that owned the inn Netto and his class stayed in. That's who I refer, too. There wasn't a pic of her in this book, but there was one concept art of her in the EXE 3 Official Guide book that I bought I while back.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh....baka. That makes 5 things missing.

Phoenix/Death Phoenix, young Netto, young Meiru, and her.

I can think of a few other things, but they aren't important, like the number trader or the net railroad.

Aw well, I'm glad I got this book. Last one on Ebay too!

Who want's to bet that the two birdies weren't put in cause the Duel Master creators didn't want them in?

Maha Jarama and Seiji are missing too. They're in the index, but they don't have page numbers.
