I am also a fan of .Hack // DUSK, the Japanese version of of .Hack // Legend of The Twilight Bracelet. Ouka and Balmung of The Azure Sky are my favorite characters, and my least favorite character is Komiyan III, known as Komiyama in the real world. Any opinions on the anime and/or manga?

I anime was all right in my opinion. Both anime and manga wise.
My favorites are Mireille[spoil:b33310e40b](Mistral's Daughter!!!)[/spoil:b33310e40b] ,Ouka, Balmung, and Zefie(manga).
Least favorite is Komiyan III, he annoyed the heck out of me throughout the whole series. Even in the manga he is just as annoying.

The few episodes I've watched are okay, but in the beginning, it felt somewhat empty to me.
The manga is definitely better to me. Everything seems more fleshed out, and Zefie's antics are funny. The only things that irk me about the manga are that it's hard to find around here, the third volume took forever to come out, and that Komiyan is bleh.
Oh, and the .hack/Unplugged page was cute. |

| Yeah it was a pretty good show. Komiyan is a freak. Ouka is an interesting character. Shugo and rena had some "odd" moments and I think [spoil:b44fa2967b]Mireille is a little girl and ouka's her home school teacher. And hotaru's a guy. But I got this from a radio play thing someone translated over at the dothackers site.[/spoil:b44fa2967b] |

From what I've read, [spoil:1ae1d542e4]Ouka is Mireille's tutor to be specific, but their offline characters do follow on that bit on info. Also, the part about Hotaru being a boy is supposed to be non-canon as the CD drama goes off with the anime, which is also non-canon. The picture in the final volume of the manga, .hack//Unplugged, shows what each major character looks like offline. It's most likely the younger girl on the right hand side is the user of Hotaru.[/spoil:1ae1d542e4]

This is one of my favorite .hack series. Mainly because there is a version of Kite in it 
These series makes you wish the World was real and you can play in it
(sees everyone on the forum trying to look like Forte or Zero) |
