Ok i've beenm seeing the commericals for shin-chan on adult swim and i'm wondering what the heck it's about... I'm guessing it's a (somewhat) adult anime sence a voice yelled "lesbians!" o.0

I would like to comment, but I don't know am I knowing the right anime, since the Shin-Chan I know is completely different from your description. And so, I must ask:

According to google, it's the Shin-chan you're thinking of.

Can't say this was something I expected... Yet I'm not entirely surprised either. XD

Yup, that's Shin-chan. And yes, it's not for children. The protagonist loves girls in bikini and the adult-only section of the library, among other stuff.

to think that they edit (masacre) other anime shows, yet they show this show to little kids here in Holland on Jetix >_>

Not that other shows that air here give anime a good name (B-Daman <shudder>). They do air Megaman NT Warrior tho, but the voices are terrible >___> and it's a translation of the American one so a lot is wrong >___>

I really like it, actually. Although somehow perverted, it's like Negima, with a lot of comedy mixed into the anime. And Shin-chan's reaction to things are sometimes just hilarious.

I would actually recommend this anime to anyone, consider Japanese or Mandarin audio. As for English audio ... well, I think it'll be hard to do his voice that well.

Haha, I saw Shin-chan when I was little and uh, although it's totally funny sometimes, I don't really like the show. XD My family has a lot of Shin-chan graphic novels and one of my 3 year old cousins like it, so... I don't know. XP

I found it to be simply hilarious.

I was hesitant at first because of what I've heard and the art style, but I loved it. Hell, I watched ten minutes of it and loved it~! Smile

Just finished watching it on Adult Swim for the first time, and I have to say this makes Super Milk Chan look tame. Just goes to show you don't have to be the greatest artist or have the greatest story and you can get your own TV show! I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be offended and turn the channel or if I was supposed to laugh like crazy (And it pretty much offended every group possible in just that one episode). It was so random and the jokes were so current, I really did enjoy it, for one eppy at least. Best crappy horrible insane show ever!
