on stream 49 enzan have a flashback.
he is a child and he have an advanced PET.
but!
in EXE he was older and he had Plug-in PET.
why is it? XD

It's almost like they re-wrote history so the Plug-In PET never existed. The same thing happened with a flashback to Lan's battle with Raoul in Axess, it shows him wielding an Advance PET there too. In Stream there are flashbacks that show younger characters too. I think Young Jasmine was shown with an Advance PET as well.

Well, that's just crazy enough to work.

Still doesn't explain why Raoul and Lan were fighting with Advanced PETs during their flashback.

I'm still trying to figure out how they converted everything from Plug-in connections to infrared sensors in just a couple of months.

I mean, in Axess and Stream you never see them run into an old Plug-in Network, everything is wireless.

So where'd all the old stuff go?

I hate it when they do this kind of stuff..

I agree with Pitchums, the threw it in a plot hole!

But still Raijin has a point, why would the switch from adv. versions to plug in and then back?

If they had ADV PETS in the flashbacks, then there were no jack-in ports which meant it was all wireless... :stonecube:

If they had a wireless system...why did they switch back to cord?

They would have to modify every port and make it cord compatible..

Then in the next few months, they are going to say....

"Hey we don't like cords,we like wireless, let's switch back"

Yeah, I noticed it too right away... I was very annoyed by it... my guess is... it WASN'T a flashback! Maybe it was something different, maybe while in Enzan's mind while facing [spoil:c1178b1041]Dark Blues[/spoil:c1178b1041], he wanted to bring up some sort of memory to distract him, but it wasn't really a memory, more like, a forced subconscious almost made up memory... thing were Enan just, created the whole thing with his mind, and forgot to leave out the Advanced PET!... :stonecube:

Ok I give up... it was lazy story telling.

Maybe they weren't allowed to use the old PETs for flashbacks? Was there some sort of licensing issue between the 2 series'? Axess NEVER shows a single scene or clip from the first 2 seasons.... kinda weird, seeing how Stream flashbacks to Axess almost every episode.

It could be that the advance pets were prototypes or better yet were testiing them?

Enzan-chibi may have been cute, but the animation was hell lazy on this episode. <_<;; R-Blues was horribly elongated in his last shot, and the scene with Enzan walking towards Blues (who is doing everything in his power to blow his Operator to pieces) could have been better.

But back to the Advance PET issue. Lazy-ass animators. :P

I agree, total laziness. Enzan and Jasmine probably should have the very first PET if it were to be accurate. Although at one time I thought that maybe the animators did that so people, who were new to series, wouldn't get confused over the PET versions, but that's probably not the case.

There is only one explanation for this, and it's that the producers screwed up. They screwed up big time! They care more for they're shaddy product placement than a fluent storyline, and that pisses me off. Get over it. There is no magical explanation. IT'S A MISTAKE! Pure and simple.
