I haven't played the first Battle Network or Battle Network 2, but my favorite was Battle Network 3, I don't know why. I guess because it was the first Battle Network game I played and it was something new to me. I din't care much for Battle Chip Challenge. Battle Network 4 drove me crazy. I disliked the replacement of the sytle changes. The souls were alright, even if they did only last three turns. I also disliked having to beat it 3 times. 5 was a little better. I liked being able to control other Navis besides MegaMan. I also liked the ending. |

I liked 3 the best. It was the first one of the series that I had actually beaten, and I liked the story a lot better. But 2 was a close second.

I must say that I enjoyed BN3 the most. I liked the storyline the best of all the BattleNetwork games. I also liked the Boss more than the other bosses in the other games (until I figured out a strategy that kills him too easily- now he's just boring). Anyway, I like how they give you the extra stuff to work on after you beat the Boss, and you can work up to being able to fight Serenade. I also like the design of the Net best in this game. BN's Net design was way too confusing to navigate, and in BN4, I didn't like the new design they gave to the Net. BN5's Net design is OK, though. Anyway, BN3 seemed to be the best playing experience for me of all the BN games. _________________

Well, I also have to agree, 3 was my favorite too! I loved all the Navi's, and it seemed to be the longest. Although, I just got 5, I and I am quickly enjoying it! |

4 has my vote. All because you can start over at the beginning with all your chips. And The Bosses where all over the place in skill, and technique. _________________

EXE5 has become my favorite Battle Network game. Even though I haven't played the English version yet, from what I read, most of the plot is something I'd really enjoy. Oh yeah, the gameplay and all that is pretty awesome, better than all the other EXE games, personally. :O
Also, they nerfed PAs for EXE5. That's something I'm really glad they did. Before, in Netbattles, all my opponents just spammed the same LifeSwords and time-freezing PAs over and over again. It just really bugged me. Besides, I don't really use PAs that much so it dosen't hurt me. <.<;
EXE2 has actually become my least favorite (even though it's my first EXE game) after playing through EXE1 and 3. I mean, EXE2 seemed to really have no connection to EXE1 and just bought over Shun and Forte to EXE3. That Heart Program stuff at the end really ruined the game for me for some reason. The gameplay also felt a lot slower. o_O;

For me, 3 > 2 & 1 & 4.5 > 4 > BCC(I haven't play 5 yet)
3 - I like the undernet ranking thing. Finally something more about the undernet. Also the best undernet theme and graphic IMO.
1 & 2 - can't really remember what's happening but the music is better than all other EXE games.
4.5 - Sometime it's good to just hanging around with your navi and deleting random navi on the internet (XD). Also the design of the tournament is a lot better than 4.
4 - The only thing I like in 4 is Forte's new mugshot :/
It's a real pain for me to play through the game 3 times to reach the hidden area. Also, the design force you to collect all chips at that round before starting another round or it will be really hard to get back.
BCC - I actually like the design of the tournament in this game. However there's not much thing you can do other then keep battling. Also, walking around deleting virus to get battle chip is way lot more interesting than buying random chips from the shops. Also, the battle depends way too much on luck. _________________

Battle Network 2 by a lot. It has way better P.A.s then any other BN game.
1 was okay. It had very few folder building rules, which made it enjoyable.
2 was the best Battle Network ever, maybe even the best GBA game ever made! It had the best final boss, the best chips, and the best P.A's.
3 had a good story, and a VERY cool version of the Undernet. It also has the best Multi-player mode.
4? 4 WAS HILLARIOUS!!!! IT WAS SO STUPID IT'S FUNNY! Little Midget Navi traveling the BIG FAT world wide web. The only way to ever enjoy this sad excuse for a BN game is to get a Gameshark and cheat.
5 was better, but not by much. you guys seem to like five a lot but it's not that good. I like the Liberation Missions, but I pretty much blew through them with my trusty Gameshark!
Six was awsome! It had the most confusing story, though. I liked the crosses, and the Beast Out. But there's too many folder building rules and WHAT DID THEY DO TO THE DARKNESS P.A.!!!!!???? (Vdoll, Vdoll, Bass F)
Overall, a pretty cool series and very fun [/quote] |

Storywise EXE 2 I loved the story to it
Gameplay Wise EXE 5 and 6- Using other Navi's is fun

Like I said in my last post, Battle Network 2 is THE best Battle Network game there is. It's probably even the best GBA game out there. But, like every other video game, the more versions they make, they just get worse and worse (ezxcept for BN2, that was WAAAAAY cooler than BN1). 4 was the pitfall, though, but 5 wasn't any better. The Navi Battle Music was HORRID!!! Simply put, Here's my rating:
2<3<1<6<5<BCC< 4
(4 was the easiest Battle Network game until Duo came into the picture. He's sooooooooooo freaken CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!) |

The Darkness PA in EXE6 was godawful. Slap on an ATK+30 chip to Forte and you pretty much have a giga chip that's far better than its PA. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.
