'Bout time I get around to posting something. Anywho, last night my browser wasn;t working and I needed to occupy my mind. I also have a huge project coming up in which I'm gonna hafta rotoscope my actors, so I figured I'd practice a bit. Took me all night to do and I plan to clean it up considerably, but for now... Behold my boredom:

What is love?! Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more...

Laughing Pure awesomeness! I can imagine Will Ferrell dressing up like Quickman, maybe it's just me, but his spirit is totally in there. But which Roxbury bro is Iceman? Jim Carrey?! Tom Hanks?! I believe I have seen some of your art elsewhere, Quick, and I must say you do fantastic work with the classic robot masters. I can't wait to see what "cleaned up considerably" looks like, because even without any shading or coloring, this rocks! Great job! Smile

Lol! That animation makes me smile. Big time! It's rare we get to see someone make a rockman-related fan animation. Keep up the good work! Laughing

YES!!!

That image is made of pure win. The win of QuickmanEXE wins t3h 1nt3rn3ts!!!1!!1one!

I don't think I'd ever have the patiance to do that. Shadowman looks a bit odd without a facemask, though.

Wow...I love that movie/ skit. Great job, and there is a certain resemblance between Quickman's horns and Ferrel's hair...

Yes! This is as good as the earthbound parody I've seen before. I almost wish it was avatar sized. Great work.

...Can't...stop...laughing... Laughing

The more I look at it, the harder it is for me to keep a straight face. First off, I can just imagine music for the three of them to be head-banging to (which is certainly what it looks like they're doing), which makes it even funnier! Second, I'm often in the exact same situation (in a car with a couple of friends and music blasting on the stereo) and picturing my own group of friends with those expressions is hilarious.

Neo's right, there really needs to be some way to format it into an avatar or atleast a sig.

I know. I'm just so used to ShadowMan.EXE that seeing his unmasked classic counterpart feels odd.

Y'know... It'd be nice to be able to edit the title of my topic each time I update it with new pics... *HINT HINT*

Anywho, for a while I've been just drawing up a series of SuperAdventure Rockman oekaki pics, mostly when I'm in a rotten mood. I've drawn up three of 'em so far, in no real particular order, and you'll no doubt notice an improvement in quality in each pic. So, without further adieu, here's the pics.

Think Quick!
This one was actually the latest one I did, just finished it off about a half hour ago, actually.

A Quick Save.
Gotta love my bad puns... Anywho, this was the first pic I did, despite it being in the middle of the series.

Casualties.
I doubt I spelled it right. Last pic of the series, second pic drawn. I said they weren't in any particular order.

Dedicated to Gary.

We have an announcement that I'd strongly recommend to read carefuly. Explains the reasons why you cannot edit, and what actions to take when needed.

I've read that announcement several times in fact and voiced my opinion a few times as well. I'm a stubborn loud-mouth smart ass, so it usually takes more than a simple explaination to convince me of something and shut me up. =P

Anywho, back to the pics on which I was kinda looking for comments on... >>;

Of those three pics in that oekaki series... In what direction should I continue it? Should I add more scenes before the "Think Quick!" scene? Or should I wrap it all up after the "Casualties" scene? Origonally I had planned to wrap the series up, as I was in a really lousy mood (still am, don't wanna go into details), but drawing a gut-wrenching scene with a dead Quickman and a distraught Rock seemed like the equivalant of throwing gasoline on a campfire. It'd only bring my mood down even further and at the moment, the last thing I wanna be drawing and thinking about is death and dieing.

Fine, I'll bite then. I saw them on AF's board and thought they were quite cool, but at the time I didn't quite know the story behind them. While I don't know much about the plot of Super Adventure Rockman, I think you could do both something before and after. To me, nothing about these 3 makes it seem like it has to end, and it really could be carried out longer. These ideas might be nothing like what you're looking for, but here goes:

For anything before, maybe a pic that explains a bit more why Shadow is trying to kill Quick. If an assassin needs a reason, that is. Maybe a pic that illustrates the stealth stalking of the speed demon? Shadow getting orders from Wily? A pre-blade toss image where a sadistic Shadow is towering over a Quick who has stumbled to the ground and is trying to get back up.

For the after pics, we see Quick is down for the count and it's a nice sad little moment, but I can picture another one with Rock enraged, maybe firing a rapid barrage at Shadow. Or maybe Shadow charging at Rock and Quick to make sure he finishes the job. Or...because just a mere Shadow Blade in the back shouldn't be enough to totally kill Quick...maybe a staggering Quick attempts to fight back to protect Rock. You say you don't wanna think about death right now, then have Quick stand up and fight back!! Smile

The 'before' that think quick scene was a fight between Quickman and Rockman.

[spoil:8ec2d6872e]Rockman was being quite beaten up by Quickman since he (Rock) was trying to reason with him (Quickman). When Quickman is about to defeat Rockman he finds himself unable to complete the task, Shadowman does appear to persuade him to finish Rockman off. Quickman was still hessitant and Shadowman took it upon himself to finish Rockman off, in the next scene Quickman is taking the blow to protect Rockman.[/spoil:8ec2d6872e]

The last three drawings are really well-drawn, and while I too haven't seen that particular series, I think you captured the characters well. That first pid, with the Night at the Roxburry theme was hilarious!

Keep up the excellent work!

Or you could take the humorous approach and have Rock fighting Shadow on one side of the picture, and Quick lying on the ground on the other side, but sticking his hand in the air and saying "I'm not dead yet! I'm getting better...!" That or "It's just a flesh wound!"

Reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, for any who don't recognize the quotes.
