Apparently the Rockman EXE anime series will conclude by October, and starting October 7 the Ryusei no Rockman anime series will air in its time slot.

Has this been confirmed or are you just following speculation?

According to blogger Gyroman_black, as hearsay from the EXE net battle event in Tokyo this past Saturday, the animated series for Ryuusei no Rockman will begin airing on October 7th. The show is said to be an installment of "Oha Colloseum," which Rockman EXE Beast+ currently is now, indicated that Ryuusei itself will air in 10 minute long episodes.

All great things must come to an end. But why, damnt why? T_T T_T T_T . Maybe a petition or outcry by the jappanesse people will make the anime get a comeback. Probably not though.

A Ryuusei anime will be an excellent addition to the series. It should explain a little more about the game. Hopefully they don't give up like on the ZX anime.

well seeing how the EXE game series ended at 6, there wouldn't be a point to continue a anime series based upon a game series which ended. which is why they are continuing the series with the Ryuusei no Rockman anime series which I think is a good idea because it brings something fresh to the audience. The EXE Series had a good run and I'll continue to watch it over and over again all 200+ episodes of it, but I also excited about this new series coming up sinces with somes new we dont know much about.

Yay! Ryuusei no Rockman anime!! I still hope that ZX will get an anime too, even if it's only 10 minutes long. I kinda wish that X or Zero would get an anime of its own. *sighs* I can still dream...

Yeah, but still sad how EXE goes down... Beast+ is defenitely not one of the strongest seasons... well, it can be argued that it's the least strong of them all >__> Well... they could make it up to us the last five/six episodes :p that would be great ^___^

Beast+ is just fanservice, that's the only reason WHY it'd be superior in a fan's mind. I think it's great to give the series the axe while it's going stale and that they are starting something new. I for one have lost interest in the EXE anime and would like to see how a Ryuusei series would work. I'm hoping that it takes advantage of the "alien and radiowaves" theme that it has potential for.

Nuts. I was hoping the animators would go for Boktai after EXE.

Oh well U_U

Oh well. As long as the anime has a good end, it's alright. Shame they didn't have eps with some of the last remaning character left to animate. They could have done a couple of episodes with some of them.

Well, in my opinion Beast+ consists of a lot of stand alone episodes that don't really go anywhere. Granted they show new navi's, but the context was a bit thin... I do think this [spoil:2bea115953]Jammingman and Cache[/spoil:2bea115953] story arc will be good, but that would be the only real story (Zero's plot was so short >__> especially the end I thought it was kind of weird). I haven't even seen all of Stream, but from all the bits I've seen and read it seems like a better story than Beast+... but just my opinion ^___^
But a final Rockman EXE movie... yeah... would love that very much ^___^ Maybe even something with those lost navi's from Battlechip Challange :p

I knew all along Ryuusei would come after Beast+'s conclusion, but damn... I never expected it to retain the horrid 10 minute episode length. I'm not sure how I feel about this yet.

What exactly is Ryuusei no Rockman? Maybe it's just me, but people don't mention it quite often until now. Was it based on that next game right after Megaman 6, where we have new main characters taking the Netto-Rockman duo's place?

It's the continuation to the Rockman EXE series, taking place hundreds of years into the future. The first game (for the Nintendo DS) hasn't yet released (expected in Japan near December with THREE different versions). It stars a boy named Subaru who acquires the power to transform into Rockman by fusing with this alien FM thing named War-Rock. He can then traverse the Radio Wave Road (or something), which basically replaces the cyber world. I believe navis are now called "FMs," too. The gameplay looks similar to the EXE games except battles are now full 3-D and from a behind-the-character view instead of from the side. Go to any major MegaMan website to find information, screens, and art.

What does Ryuusei no Rockman mean? So Beast+ will be what, 25 episodes?

Beast+ has 26, according to Xebec. Added with Beast's 25 episodes, that brings it to 51, which is the same length as Axess and Stream, and is also when the "true" storyline concluded in the original EXE (though EXE opted to, for some reason, have five more filler episodes afterwards).

Ryuusei no Rockman translates to something like "Rockman of the Meteor Shower" or "Rockman of the Shooting Star." The new series seems like it'll have more of a space and radio theme than the cyber theme that EXE had.
