|
|
This last month marked the finale to the EXE manga in Japan's monthly installment, found inside the Coro Coro manga magazine. The manga will be complete at a total of 13 volumes, which is no small milestone! Congratulations to Ryo Takamisaki-san and all of his hard work and dedication. He truely has given us something special the remember EXE by.
According to Pockle, it has been confirmed in the latest Coro Coro special that Takamisaki-san will NOT be continuing with a Ryuusei no Rockman manga. That's not to say that there will never be a manga for Ryuusei, just simply that Takamisaki-san has opted not to do it himself. After six years of working on EXE, he certaintly deserves the break! _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. He should have made one more. 13 is an unlucky number.
I'm just kidding. Thanks for bringing us the news Ryouko. _________________

Thanks for bringing this up,Ryo.It feels kinda sad that Takamisaki Ryo-san is no longer publishing the EXE manga. However, like Semisonic says in their song "Closing Time":
"The new beginning starts from some other beginning's end..."
So,with the end of the EXE manga, maybe we'll have another manga-ka take a shot in working for Ryuusei no Rockman. We can only hope for the best in the future... _________________ Things are going to be changing soon in the next few months.Stay tuned for updates and the like. |

Then it has happened. The battle network series has officially ended. It lived a long prosperous life T_T T_T . What prompted this ending of the Battle Network series? Lack of profit, interest, ideas? _________________

Our world changes, so Rockman, as a cultural icon, changes, too.
I've heard it from Fireman at Atomic Fire. I'm very sad to hear it end so soon, but all good things must come to an end. Congrats to Takamisaki-san for a wonderful 6 years working on such a wonderful manga. ^_^ The series may have officially ended, but for those who love it so much, it still lives on deep down. =) _________________ ~スライダーちゃん~

Not in Japan, it isn't. :P 7 is a much more unlucky number. _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

So that's how it's going to be. EXE has faded away just like the rest of the series. It was always the most lively of the series, but it must come to an end. T_T _________________

4 being super unlucky!
I don't mind so much, it's better it ends on a good note than continue on forever becoming increasingly mediocre. _________________

Not really "faded away," that honour is reserved for DASH and Classic...uh...and X, I guess....well, EXE had a proper ending, and that's what's important, yes? _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

Yes, at least EXE had closure. I think pretty much every series except Zero didn't have such a blessing. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

Zero barely had an ending.
And the sourcebook did an even worse job of unfuzzing the very fuzzy storyline. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Vol 11 is scheduled for March of 2007, but the release could easily change to an earlier date. So probably the last 3 volumes will be released in 2007 or at the very least, two of them. _________________ Hecha en MÉXICO - Avatar by Me.
