Indeed.

The manga is an element of the EXE universe that is often overlooked when it comes to the fandom. Much is said about the anime and the games, but not a lot of people acknowledge the manga. Perhaps it was of the differing styles that people shied away from it; but it is because of this that many others have entered the fandom, much like Izu said.

So the EXE chapter of the Rockman series is finally drawn to a close. I can definitely speak for many in that I would have enjoyed if the series were to be pushed further. But as the title of the series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation says, "All Good Things...[must come to an end.]"

That's a shame, I really liked Takamisaki's art style. It was very different from the game/anime art, but it was quite endearing - the manga was what really got me interested in the EXE series way back when.

I am the same here. I never enjoyed EXE when first saw it with it being RPG-wise, but then reading the manga got me a bit into it, and then soon lead to playing the game. Again, 6 years of drawing the same manga series is a pretty tiring business, and so I hope for whatever his reason is, he may come back to do another Rockman series manga with the art style we know and love.

Btw, is there any news about the new artist?

Here, here. I really enjoyed Takamisaki's manga. The art was phenomonal, and the story blew me away (and then there's Forte becoming more involved unlike the games and anime, but that's my opinion of course. ^^). I think I read my manga more than play the games or watch the anime. XD Though after hearing about the ending from Fireman of Atomic Fire, I felt that it was a bit rushed. I understand that they're trying to finish up anything EXE before Ryuusei no Rockman comes out at the end of the year, but still... meh. Ah well. =P
