You know... for something that is hundreds of years in the future of EXE... it seems like a step backwards to use radio waves as opposed to internet O__o;; It would be more logical if this were a hundred years before EXE XD _________________

Actually, the radio waves that are in use in Ryuusei no Rockman ARE the 'step forward' to the internet used in EXE.
You use radio waves to perceive 'wireless internet' signals. You're not bound to a wire, or cord to receive a connection to the network. This upgrade is implied in EXE when the characters switched from a the regular PET and then the plug-in PET to the Advanced, Progress and Link PETs. The Ryuusei no Rockman World take place in an era where the radio waves are a virtual world in their own, just like the cyberworld contained within a computer. The Radio waves world is right there, with ours.
So isn't really a 'step back' it's a 'step further' into the direction EXE already was having by the end. _________________ Hecha en MÉXICO - Avatar by Me.

There's no 'Rockman' to be plugged in in Ryuusei. It's a little more like a cross fusion of sorts. _________________ Hecha en MÉXICO - Avatar by Me.

So.... does [spoil:c5caaaa198]war rock[/spoil:c5caaaa198] stay in the new PET and come out when they "cross fuse"? |

Then again, is there even a PET in Ryuusei, or something similair? So far, I've heard no device of the sort, but [spoil:acc0789147]Subaru's glasses that let him see the Radio World[/spoil:acc0789147] might be it. :/ _________________ MegaMan Kilobit

And now everywhere else is picking up on it: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com
I dunno...personally, I kinda gave up on the EXE anime as a whole a while ago. But who knows how this one will be. _________________ And if you go, furious angels will bring you back to me...

Sad it's coming to an end, hopefully the new series won't be filled with so much filler. _________________

I can't help but wonder what the bosses will be like.
Will they be based on characters from past Rockman games like how the Navis were based on Robot Masters or will they create completely new characters? _________________

It looks like there will be animal and human FMs. The first boss is named Ox Fire and doesn't look very human, but from what we've seen there will be more human like characters. |

well i for one am very excited about this new exe series and i agree with much that has been previously said on the last few pages. the scenarios should be bigger and crazier. i do wonder how the boss battles will be though. a note about the new battle perspective...i thought it would cool to have that, but this thought came to me last year. in fact, i made a post about it here...something ot do with being obsessed with games. it seems this new battle perspective was made to give the player a more immersive experience. now, if they would just add rumble whenever you got hit, that would be cool! _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

Ox Fire... That sounds like an X series boss. I wonder if they will bring in more X series concepts in this. _________________ All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu... This is the truth! This is my belief! ...At least for now.

Being American I know virtually nothing about Ryussei but I'm thinking it's gonna be like EXE with X/Zero bosses(animal) but the games are named after the starroids... So I'm thinking that the most powerful of them will be humanoids like Sigma, Terra, etc... _________________ Salem Paroo, Guardman's roleplay character!

So far, there's nothing X/Zero related in the series other than the fact that it takes place so far into the future of EXE (as did X with Classic). We haven't seen any other bosses, so it's not fair to say the animalistic theme is retained just because the sole boss we've seen is animal-based. There's no virus that are turning FMs into rebellious war machines, there's no war period, etc. Let's give it some more time before we decide it's the EXE-itized X series. _________________

I think I would rather have a new anime based off oen of the series that does not involve as much human interaction. As cool as EXE was, I wish they would stop showing up the kids and give us more Navi action. That is why I prefer Network Transmission over any of the BN games. It has more replaybility and only has a little bit of Lan in it. The rest of the game is all MegaMan-tachi. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

That was a pretty good game. I noticed how you really could play as lan.
I liked the little navi dolls that were around his room when you beat the various bosses. I'd like some of those. |

Why exactly would you use a random Japanese suffix in there when you're referring to dub names? Why not "Rockman-tachi" or "MegaMan and the others," insteading of committing linguistical travesties? ;o; _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*
