Shadow-quagmire. That way the girls won't be able to tell he's sneaking up behind them. The picture is very insane. And Joe could be some one like cloudman, since he only has a cloud. I could probally match them up.

Work in progress update time, giggity, giggity, goo! Mainly to appease MSP for the time being, 'cause this is taking a while. Hardly touched up pencil sketch warning. Don't ya hate how scanners pick up more than you want them to? That's about all I could do with the contrast, until I ink them. And scantily-clad EXE ladies at the beach warning, if you don't wanna see that kinda thing.

I'm sorta getting flustered, since it's kinda odd to draw anime style and then merge Family Guy style into the same pic. In any case, I'm planning to take a part of Unknown Neo's idea and merge it with mine to have both Shadow Quagmire and Quag Miyabi clones on the loose. The title I'm running with is, maybe obvious if you thought about it, "Quage Bunshin!" Laughing

Except I'm pronouncing Quage all French-like going "Kwa-gay." I'm rambling, aren't I? Soooooo...here we've got Millionaire and Shadow Quag miniroid, plus Mariko and barely clothed Quag Miyabi. Still to come are Manabe with a handcuffed CF Shadow Quag and a fully clothed Quag Miyabi trying to get a hug from Makoto. Then I'll color, make up some background, merge them all into one super scene and hopefully pull it off.

Any critiques on these two before I get around to inking is appreciated, because I'm still not happy with how my Quag's look and some other details.

Haha, what a great idea! It'd be funny if you could make a gif with Shadow Quagmire doing that head thing...

...What is he doing when he bobs his head like that exactly? It looks so weird considering the shape of his head.

Oh! I just noticed! Shadow Quag's right (his perspective) scarf thingum is missing. It's just the katana sheath.

Sigh...I said I'd have this done before summer ended, didn't I? Yeah, not happening. I was trying to get a website up with my art on freewebs, but I found out there was a 100 file limit unless you pay to upgrade, even though I'm nowhere near using up a tenth of my alloted file space. I KNEW THERE WAS A CATCH! So, I feel like I've wasted more time trying to get that up, now I have to rethink everything, and it killed my drawing time. But on the plus side, I think I'm about done with the final two "Quage Bunshin" sketches. Again, very rough and I'm really not touching them up. I totally wasted and eraser after these 4 pics, so my lines are more visual than usual. But once I ink, I'll go over it with a new, clean eraser and obviously touch it up. CF Shadow Quagmire getting arrested by Manabe - "Handcuffs?! I like where this is going!" And normal Quag Miyabi trying to hit on Makoto. I'm still not happy with her chair. I think every line I've come up with for that pic is too dirty of a double entendre to even use...so use your imagination until I clean it up.

With luck, colored, 4-in-one pic will be done in a week or two. At least before Halloween. I've already got that idea planned.

Oh, and Shakai, I have no clue about anything when it comes to making animations, so that ain't happening, either. Funny, but I can't do it. Sad

Heh heh heh Nice. And I can't think of anything that isn't somewhat dirty for that second one. I do know one that mentions her mind in comparison to another body part but that might be too clever for him.

And Makoto.. D: I feel sorry for her. She's just trying to read, then gets hit on by Quag Miyabi.

And what I meant by animation, is just take one pic and move the head slightly in photoshop or something, so he does that thing with his head "Giggity Giggity!" If you want I could help with ideas over IM or something.

But it's okay if that animation idea doesn't work.

3 Down, 1.5 to go...

Thanks for the comments, guys. I don't want to flood my finished post with each colored pic, but thought maybe somebody out there would want to see the larger colored versions, since they all will be shrunk a little as I try to fit them all into a single background. So here's what's done so far, working on the Makoto one, my background, and one other surprise right now.

And to Shakai again, I've quickly sketched a few alternate heads for the Makoto one, I'll see when I'm done if I do try to attempt any animation, but it's not my top priority or anything.

Sigh...well, not 100% how I drew it up in my head, but here is the finished version of "Quage Bunshin!" The first pic is without any text, the second has my dialogue.

I tried my best with the background. It was done entirely with a mouse and not drawn out beforehand. Well, that one beach ball I didn't draw. But that was another issue (Note to self... do full body pics... -_-; ). So that's why my background is sorta lame in spots...and why I don't do oekaki, but praise those who do. I probably could have done more if I had been more patient with it, but I'd rather focus on my contest entries and halloween pic while I can. It's good enough for now. Maybe one day I'll go back and touch things up.

Also, here are the colored versions of the Makoto pic and my surprise, BubbleMeg! No, BubbleMeg is not my gender swap entry. It's creepy enough that I drew this just before the contest was announced! :puku: Enjoy.

Bubblemeg is pretty creepy but I don't hate meg like everyone else.
Nice work with the shadow-quag technique. It's a inventive way of combo-ing the different quags together. Also the words are funny too.

Well, since I'm 90% done with those things I'm legally obligated not to discuss, I've finally started on my Halloween pic. Trying the colored background again to see if it helps it to stand out, since I've done all I can with the filters on my light pencil. Not trying to blind you!! Partially Stream spoilers due to Meijin's costume. And Makoto's legs really need work still.

Hopefully Netto's reaction to Meijin will be priceless when I get him and Meiru into the final pic. I'll keep their costumes a mystery. Also planned and started are Gluttony Dekao, Ghost Enzan with reverse color Enzan hair (I don't see Enzan as one to put effort into a costume. Black eggshell hair on the white sheet looks kinda funny Smile

), BurgerKingMan Torakichi, and Witchy Yaito. But half a body or floating heads aren't worth showing off. Will I get all that done and colored before the 31st? Who knows. But I at least will get this part of the scene done, which I hope is cute enough as a stand-alone image.

Awww Trill looks adorable -providing that's Trill- The picture seems pretty good so far, but there's something wrong with Makoto's hand. You drew her left hand as if it was the right hand.

From that point of view, you shouldn't be able to see her thumb fully. And the profile view of the pinky is what should dominate the hand rom that position. Otherwise, it seems to be a really cute and creative picture. Hope to see it colored soon.

Aw, crap, you're right. That's idiot me trying to look at my own hand in the mirror and draw because I had no real reference for that pose...but no, my hands are not that girly. I screw myself up sometimes doing that. And yeah, it's Trill. When I kept the little mustache, it did look too much like an SD Shademan and not really like him. Gotta have an adorable toddler in a Trick or Treat pic!
