o.o I wonder if they do actually put Sonic in it, they could give him that make-enemy-into-a-ball attack from Sonic Adventure 2 as a throw enemy attack. Make him like the Ice climbers but with Tails following him around?

Meh, Fox needs another counterpart, Wolf o' Donnel anyone? ;o

I'd like to see a Yoshi counterpart, maybe Birdo?, I'd like to see Birdo in it Smile

I never Ever, want to see Shadow or Sora in it.. ewww no. Most characters in SSBM were classic characters, no newly made characters on our screen, nuu way.

I agree that Sonic would be the most requested character for this installment,namely because of those rumors flying about that he'd be in Melee.

Birdo was really amusing in Melee,not as a character,but part of the stage.I'd really like to see her make the cut.However,how would Baby Bowser fit in?Would he just whip out his paintbrush and disguise himself as the opponent he's facing?That'd be a hoot.^^

Also,Sora is so not going to be on my played character list if he gets in.Cloud is okay...but LyteBlaze is right.Smash Bros is about classic game characters like Mario,Link,Kirby and Pikachu.There's no room for newly designed characters like Sora.

If they splice him in,it ruins the ambience of the classic theme they're aiming for here.

Speaking of SSBB,any word on what stages are coming in and what stages from Melee and Volume 1 are being re-used?Does Akanaea(sp?) have a chance in getting in?

from reading posts you guys are still expecting 'counterpart' characters, characters that are exactly the same as other characters but look different and maybe do different damage. I was pretty sure Sakurai said he was getting rid of that annoying little feature. Did ye hear something that I did not?

Yep, he said he was reworking all characters and there would be no clones.

thats awsome, all dem clones were really annoying, and just when you think you get a good fresh character, he's only a clone of another character.

this game cannot not succeed now.

The Smash Dojo won't be updating until late 2007 since they're busy working and tweaking Smash Bros Brawl.How many arenas do you think they'll be putting in there?Also,what stages from Smash Bros 1 and Melee would you love to see come back?

There's a new trailer of SSB:B. It shows new stages, and Fox has been comfimed playable again (Who, IMO, looks like a mix between his old and SF:Command look).
