Yeah, clicking on the reply button is hard. Not only thiat, but it takes so very long! :eyes:
To be honest, having to slow down long enough to hit reply is a good thing. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Not to say I don't mind having to take the time to press the reply button as it takes sooooo long , but some people DO have dial up and loading another page does take time for them. Not to say I still have dial up

I'd also be comfortable with a quick reply function in this forum. Many other forums that I'm in does have one.
Is it possible to have a SpellCheck button in the quick reply, in case you administrators consider about adding them to this forum? |

Quick reply has been brought up in the past. We've said "no" every time. As far as I know, the forum isn't anywhere near destroying Ryouko's bandwidth. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Like I said, I'm not complaining.
Unless that wasn't directed at me. In which case, ignore this post... -_-; _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

While a quick reply function COULD be implimented with PHP, I don't think any of the admins have the knowledge, let alone the time, to code that. Now, if there's a readily available mod for phpBB, I'd suggest implimenting it (if it's easy enough), but honestly there's no real point... very few people are still on dail-up and the post page comes up fairly quickly. _________________

I'm in another forum which runs on PHPbb, and it has a quick reply function. |

I have a great idea for you pertaining to bandwidth. An imageless theme for the fourm. I know they exist beacuse I've seen them before. _________________

The forum doesn't really use that much bandwidth...
I can ask Nobi to look into a quick reply feature, if that many people want it. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

Speaking as a person who actually has dial-up, I'd just like to get in my two cents and say that a quick reply isn't needed, at least in my opinion. Ask anyone who talks to me regularly, and they'll tell you my connection is one of the slowest around xD; Yet the reply page comes up fast enough for me ^^ Heck, I've been on forums that have had quick reply, and I never used it myself.
If there are still a whole bunch of people who want it then sure, add it. I'm just one of the ones who thinks it's not needed, dial-up and all ^^; _________________

*shrug* I just think that quick reply will encourage people to put down the first thought they have instead of taking a moment to consider their reply before the page loads. _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*
