Something tells me that Ryuusei no Rockman's going the same way as what Nintendo did with LoZ: Oracle of Seasons/Ages back in 2000/01:

Expanded story + gameplay upon wirelessly linking the three versions?

Well, hopefully. Since that way, there would be a better reason for have three versions of a game besides milking the series for all it's worth. :/

question? who here would really buy all three version? the DS is Wifi and it appears its going to be able to use the Wifi Adaper for the PC so connecting to someone else wouldn't be a problem, so I really dont see why someone would have to go out and buy two or three versions of the game.

like I said in my previous post

"if you have three versions to pick from you have more of a variety to choose from instead of picking only A or B"

so in my opinion I really don't see Capcom three versions of this game just to milk it for all its worth... because from what I can tell, their trying to make this game really good, because most of things they are adding to the game are thing we EXE fans have always wanted (Global Netbattles) Woo Hoo!

I know I'm late on this discussion (and I've been gone for a while) but I wanted to comment on this too. I mean, something happened a while back and all love for EXE seemed to just stop. Then they start work on this secret project, but its all unknown as to what it will be when its all finished. So fans don't know wether to be excited or disappointed at this point. I'd like to see the franchise take off again, be super popular, spin off a new anime series/manga, and grace the toy shelves once again with it's presence, but will it happen? *shrugs* I haven't even seen ads for this game here yet. I've seen ads for "Megaman ZX", but not this. Whats the deal?

I've never liked the "multiple versions of a game" idea. The Zelda Oracle games are different because they were pretty different stories. When the only difference is an item or a person, its just not neccessary. I certainly hope they don't go in the direction of Four Swords and have it be where you can only unlock things by hooking up to multiple game paks on other systems. No one else I know owns a game system and I'm not hunting down some kid down the street just to unlock stuff. That always bothered me about Four Swords for GBA. You can't even play it without other people attached. I want everything available to me in a single player environment, and if a second player option is available, that's nice, but it shouldn't be manditory to play or get a specific item. Thats my opinion anyway. lol

ZX has been out in Japan for at least...2-3 months now. Ryuusei hasn't even come out in Japan.

The artwork can now been seen at the site too, which has updated a little. It now has a pop-up window for the Anime and up the left corner it has the three logos for the different versions. Clicking on that area brings up another pop-up window with some more artwork and clicking on each of the three parts of the window brings up a picture of the henshin for each version.

the wood dragon form looks beautiful! wood is one of my favorite elements (the other being aqua) also! and come on...dragons are just the best. i for one am glad there are more than 1 version *hides from chucked bricks* because i have two other friends who like MMBN so our battles would be a lot more interesting. that's how it was with MMBN5 DS:TL. wait a minute...this is on WiFi right? wow, i forgot all about that! i expect my grades to slide a few notches... -_-;

Yes, what gets on my nerves more? Calling it "Star Force?" Calling War Rock "Warlock?" The games being ICE Pegasus, FIRE Leo and Woo..no, wait, "GREEN" Dragon?!! Or the fact that the guitar girl in the promo collage is supposedly Roll. Well, if it's Warlock, maybe it'll be "Loll." Sheesh, all these inconsistencies already. Let's hope that with the extra long wait until its release, they will change things for the better. Although we all know, no, no they won't.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but I believe there is new content on the Ryusei site, this time with battle clips (two for each form) that are more complete than the ones in the trailer. It's marked new on the fun green constellation line dealy on the bottom left that you can play around with with your mouse. I think you first have to click on the vid to start it (it really slowed my comp down, so that might just be me), there is a quick transformation into the appropriate form, and then a fight to watch. It'll be fun to see how this new diagonal/directional attack feels when you're playing. And the battle card system sounds very interesting as well. Now if we just had a little more info on any other constellation-based bosses, I might overlook some of those name inconsistencies...

Hang on, there's one saying "Shooting Star Megaman". I'd go with that.

While I know and understand where "Warlock" came from (there being no distinction between "L" and "R" sounds in the Japanese writing system), but how are they going to squeeze in the line where the alient entity asks Subaru to call him "Rock" from that?
Oh yeah. "Mega", not "Rock". *hits head repeatedly on the wall*
Still..... :/

I was actually hoping they'd call it, Megaman Star Network or Wave Network something like that, to keep up in consistency with the last series, but I guess not. Also, since the game isn't out in Japan yet, I don't think it's good for them to start spouting out names until they actually have the product in their hands ^^;

Ryuusei no Rockman or Ryusei no Rockman?

because I see Ryuusei no Rockman almost every where, but on Capcoms site URL its ryusei. Its also spelt that way on many anime sites. So I'm just trying to figure out which one if correct ^.^

I'm almost positive it's pronounced "Ryuusei" so as to note that it's a U sound instead of an Uh sounds. But that's just the unintelligible rambles of a nut. You can't take my word for it as I'm no expert.

I was seriously wishing they'd just keep with the friggin' idea of alliteration. Seriouisly COA. Is it so hard to call a game "Megaman: Meteor" or something like that? Seriously. STAR FORCE?! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS, POWER RANGERS?!

It is really Ryuusei, but Japanese people tend to drop extended sounds when they romasnise things.

It's called Star Force because there IS a Star Force in it. If you hate the name that much then import already.
