|
|
I just recently been getting back to playing it, and I got to the Wood Man scenario. While I was dodging the Wood Towers I got into a battle. After I won, I saved my data. When I got out of the Save Screen, it was ALL black and I could only hear the music of the typical Park Net Area theme!! When I turned the game off and turned it back on, the game WAS STILL like that! What can I do to get the game back to normal?! I despretly need help!!
I don't want to start all over again!! I beat it twice and I don't wanna suffer getting the chips and stuff again!
THANKS FOR THE HELP!! |

There is a sticky for this....but I suppose it could work here.
Well, I really don't know. Just make sure there's no dust or anything in the cart or the GBA and try again. Otherwise....I really don't know. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! That's a common problem for the Rom users and apparently it happens in some cart for some reason as well. The rule is to try to get to Woodman without encountering any enemies, cause the game freezes after the battle.
I'd say you're screwed if you saved at that moment. Might as well start over and remember to be more careful suring Woodman's scenario. Don't worry about other scenarios, Woodman's is the only one that seems to cause that glitch. |

No... I can't... I WONT!!
I went through TOO much trouble to just LOSE it all!!
I beat the game 5 times now!! And fighting [spoil:d41f76277b]Duo[/spoil:d41f76277b] five times is NOT fun!! Trust me...
So I really have to start over again? Because I am using the real game. Not a [spoil:d41f76277b]rom[/spoil:d41f76277b] |

I had that problem too a few months ago....Well all I did was just not play it for a while. Maybe that'll work. |

You beat it five times already? Then why are you still playing? You should have seen everything already. |

For some reason, Woodman never appeared the other times. Always I got Roll and Windman's stuff and all the Red Sun scenarios since I switched Visit Data with my friends. I need to get this game working!! :grr: |

The best bet is just to start over the game. or ask Capcom. _________________

Saito Rockman, by your replies I think that you're using a DS or maybe a faulty GBA cartridge, since the second one is highly unlikely, I'll proceed with the first one, If you're using a DS then you need to avoid encounters as Raijin said that is because the DS emulates the GBA engine and gets the same problems and errors that any [spoil:537bf893b8]ROM[/spoil:537bf893b8] gets, that means that if you're playing Red Sun you won't be able to use any Gutsman Navi Chips and if it's Blue Moon you won't be able to use the Aquaman Navi Chips, and both freeze if you enter a battle in Woodman's scenario.
I hope I could helped you, bye :poof: _________________

I haven't gotten to the WoodMan bit yet, but do you get the same problem when you use a Game Boy Player? |

Well because of some money issues I couldn't get a Gba Player so I don't know if it's the same, try any of the above errors, if your game freezes then it's really likely the same will happen _________________

Can't you just pop your game into the original GBA and pass that part with it? I thought I remembered hearing that was possible. Or my memory sucks. Either way... >_> _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

The DS uses the same method of emulating GBA games as computer emulators do, so any problems that ROMs have, the DS will, too. Just play through that part with a GBA, SP, or a Gameboy Player. >.> |

So DS emulates GBA games like [spoil:eaeaf2fa06]rom[/spoil:eaeaf2fa06] does? Man then I am not going to get a DS..... _________________

Yep. IIRC someone mentioned once that game time is slowed down in BN4 (when played on a DS) to the point where it stops. _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

Are you serious? I thought it had an unlimited restarts until 99 or so.
Dang DS doesn't seem to be worth it if there are so many bugs _________________ Avatar by May, many flowers and thanks for the wonderful avatar. |

Nah it doesn't stop it just gets extremely slow to the point where it's a lot better to either use a GBA or a GBA Player _________________

Dude that sucks, I never heard of this problem before. It sounds like the only thing to do is to start over. If you have beat the game several times shouldnt it be easer and faster to do it again? It was for me. _________________
