Both in terms of characters we haven't seen in while...and Tamako. Mmmm...Tamako... Smile

The net police are cracking down and the result is Navi profiling. Poor Gutsman, can't catch a break. Didn't I swear I'd do something if I heard him scream again like he did in Beast+ 18? I'll have to get back to you on that, I forget.

I was happy to see a few more characters who deserved a little final screen time, even if it had to be with the same evil twin that substantiates formula. But boy, these Phantom Navis are super weak.

There were a few instances, when Netto Cross Fuses, when Netto and Enzan try to plug in, but can't, and even other situations where it seemed very odd to have no background music. That disappointed me.

And maybe it was just me, but did more than one artist work on this episode? It seemed like there were varying styles in the art direction. It was still a nice episode for the art (did I mention Tamako?), but I dunno, something seemed different at times, like part of the Thunderman battle for example.

It will be interesting to see how the Navis find out about Jammingman, seeing how nobody in the real world has access to the net and every Navi is suspicious of one another. Put together with last week's, I guess this would make a pretty good full-length eppy. Last week's fight was way better, but I can't complain.

Countdown to the final 3 episodes!! I don't know if I should be Sad or :]

The way the Navis were all acting around each other accusing one another of being Phantom Navis, it's very similar to our world today when everyone is on edge about terrorists.

According to Xebec, only one animator handelled this episode, Shimizu Yasuo.

Why is Lan's PET messed up for the entire episode? I though it was a blue fill with white edges. :O

At least they decided to cut the Cross Fusion and Dimensional Area parts that were repeated countless times. I found it humorous how they showed a Phantom Navi, then delibrately showed the original. Btw, Tamako in the spring. :O :O :O :O
Also, whay are the Phantom Navis so weak? They seemd like a pain the first two (or three) times.

Oeeeeeh!! I like where this is going!! The Phantom Navis plot is a very well thought out one! If only they would've used this plot for the whole of Beast+... that probably would've worked better AND it would give some time for characters that we haven't seen yet... It just would've been better if they used the Zero story and somehow crossover to the Cache story... oh well, they messed it up now. But we can still hope for a great ending XD

Also the directing of this episode was nice :p I wasn't bothered at all by the lack of backgroundmusic when plugging in and the part where Enzan falls back and you instead see Netto after that was a nice touch.

Oh, I don't think the navis looked weak at all O___o;; I mean, Roll, Gutsman, Aquaman, Glyde etc were finished off by Laike in one shot O__o;; now THAT makes those navis look weak. And Rockman and Blues just ARE very strong, which explains why they beat Metalman and Thunderman relatively easy. And return of the afro!!!!! (they should've made a navi called Afroman XD)

I liked this episode and I hope towards the end it stays at the story quality this episode had :p

They're weak for one reason: 10 minute long episodes.

Well, it could've worked if it was a more or less continueing story I guess... which they did for the first four episodes or something.

Oh there's one more thing I wanted to say! Just before Thunderman goes to the real world you see the Woody Tower attack (or at least it looks like it). Does this mark the return of Saloma (and Miyuki and Beef-shirai? :p) I would love to see their return!

Tamakooooo~~~~ :D

Right. Enough of the drooling on myself. That was a good episode. A nice plot too. Let the navis fight among themselves while the humans can't do jack to stop it. As well, the first part with Roll and Gutsman and the Net Police was hilarious.

My guess: No. Beast spoilers: [spoil:19a4b9f460]They were shown for more than a few episodes, at least their Beyondard versions, which really weren't that different. So I don't think that bringing them in again is a high priority.[/spoil:19a4b9f460] I'm pretty sure that the attack on Phantom Thunderman in the net was done by a Net Police navi, just using the attack because, well, Thunderman did use a lightning attack and if they had any common sense, they'd try to attack him with a wood-based attack. I could be wrong, but I kinda doubt they'll show up again. Unless maybe in a credits kind of thing during the final episode (hoping we get a full-length finale).

I wonder if Jammingman will be counted as a Dark Loid kinda navi or a phantom navi.
If he is a Phantom navi, then there must be a real jammingman out there somewhere.

These phantom navis are as fragile as bubbles.
Hopes for a Phantom Forte Wink

Pretty good episode overall, I liked the couple cameos we got and the whole situation was handled pretty interestingly.

For the first time in Beast + though, I really got the feeling here that this should have been a full episode. As great as it was, there's a whole lot more I could think of to make it better if it had more time.
