Riku gets the spacecraft when he jumps out of sight. Where did he get it? I don't know, it's a big castle, they're bound to have a bunch of stuff there. Does it really matter?
While I don't recall there ever being a green orb, the dragon is simply a creation of [spoil:b580dac637]Xemnas[/spoil:b580dac637] that he uses to fight Sora and Riku.
As for the location of the final battle, as of right now, it has no signifigance. It's simply the place the three combatants ended up in after The World That Never Was was destroyed, likely some realm outside of time and space. While I'm sure it will make an appearance in KHIII to provide some connection to the first two games, it probably won't have much more signifigance than that. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Big News folks!
1. There is no anime, instead SE is putting Gangan on Mobiles.
2. Kingdom Hearts II will despite speculation to the otherwise, in fact have a Final Mix version!
Check http://kh2.co.uk/ for pictures, they should be on the front page for now. _________________

Yeah, I heard about the final mix version a week or two ago, but checking out your link, I dunno what to believe. I'm surprised that the PS2 version CoM screens aren't part of KH2:FM, but are actually a remake! It would be nice, but I'm not going to totally accept that until the Tokyo Gaming Show info we get this week proves otherwise. Like the supposed anime info, it turned out to be mistranslations or rumors, so I'm holding back judgement until TGS ends Sunday. I think it makes more sense that they'd throw it in as an additional beginning to KH2:FM, then pick up with the KHII gameplay+extras, rather than selling them separately as two different games all together. Whatever the case, great news, even if it probably won't be released outside of Japan. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

There's already pictures of the PS2 version of COM.
My only concern is that these games will be for Japan only. :grr: At least give us the COM remake since that's new, somewhat. _________________

I understand there are pictures, I saw them. I'm saying that the information that it's a separately sold PS2 remake of CoM could be wrong. Originally, the rumor was the CoM screens (Cloud fighting Sora was the first I saw) were a mini-game in KH2:FM. Just like whoever said there was going to be an anime mistranslated things, I think that saying CoM is being entirely remade might be a mistranslation. That's why I'm saying wait until the weekend when it's officially announced. My theory about the new CoM screens is that it will still be part of KH2:FM, only you have to play the Chain of Memories part of the story before you play the KH2 part of the story. They won't be two separate games for sale. That's all I'm saying/guessing, not that I'm right. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

(Sorry for the double post. Mods, feel free to merge my last two posts if you want.)
Well, I was half right, half wrong. I knew something seemed off about those reports. They are indeed two separate games, but they are bundled together, so essentially it's more like a two disc set. Two for one ain't bad! Sounds like the remake of CoM is just being called RE: Chain of Memories. The bundled set is due for release in Spring '07. If you'd like more info or wanna see the pics, which are clearer now, follow HK's link or browse just about any other KH site out there. And of course, they ignored any question about if the game(s) would be released outside of Japan. Figures. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

it would be a huge mistake by Square Enix not to translate this COM version for the PS2, if it exists. That would so uncool, forcing me to import and paying taxes and crap. _________________

Well, that IS a downside. However, what if they get the idea if they don't want to release Final Mix over here but throw in the CoM remake... it could be possible... We just have to wait more time for more info... _________________
