I got bored and wanted to see if I could do a picture using the computer alone. This was all done with my mouse and the aid of the light effects filter. Our beloved Saito looks a little chubbier than I would have liked, but I'm not complaining since it was too hard using the mouse to be picky. ^^;

Since I'm currently trying something with just the mouse on my comp, I totally understand how painstakingly hard this is. Great job! I don't think he looks chubby at all. Younger characters always have that cherubic sized head, plus his body doesn't look that big. Maybe would've stood out more if you used black for his nose/mouth/ears (like you did with the upper part of his eyes) or thrown a simple darker color background together, but it doesn't detract from the pic at all. Good work, Achie!

Duly agreed.

It looks painstakingly hard to do, and rest assured that just by doing something like this you've already bettered quite a few aspiring artists out there.

It does look a little splotchy at some points, but otherwise, the proportions look nice and it's a great pic. I suggest marking in some of the boundaries a little darker, like where his chin eclipses the rest of his neck.

It looks nice, and I like the darkening effect on his shirt. The eyes look good, but his mouth is barely visible. Still, it's excellent work!
