Guard's Art Thread...(Enter if you dare)

Guardman.EXE

Well a few things have occured to me recently. I remembered that... I am better at drawing than spriting and fanficing! So I might as well put some fun lil' art on here. Another thing that I learned was that...Drawings are better if you actually work on them for quite a while!!
Here's my drawing of Team Colonel. I personally like Numberman, Toadman, and I kind of like Rock. Knightman and Tomahawk were harder to do, being behind characters, and there was only one Tomahawk reference I could find, and I did Colonel from memory...(and you'll never decipher my signature so don't even try...)

I'll probably ink and CG that later...(once I have some CG practice)
"Hey, Kids! Speaking of Computer Graphics, I drew a Plantman to practice it. This is my first attempt at CG or Plantman! I did Plantman from memory, so I didn't realize how screwed up he was until later...

Remember...keyword...First Attempt at CG, so it's pretty bad...

Great work! That was an excellent first try that you made! Some characters are noticably slimmer than normally, but you did most great work on Colonel and Plantman.exe. Some poses are well done on the latters, Toadman and Numberman.

If you keep drawing, I'm sure you'll get some more decent results.

You say you did Colonel from memory, and I think that by far is your best drawn character. Keep working from memory! You did very well proportionately with his head and most all of his body. That one leg is a little short, but otherwise, perfect. I agree with RT-Fact that there are some slim characters (Numberman looks like he was flattened by Knightman!) but you experimented with different poses, so good job with that. You've definitely got the basics of CG coloring down, for your first time, it's really good. It's all neatly inside the lines, you attempted some shading/light effects...keep working at it, you'll get the hang of it in no time.

Well...sadly since I don't have any good pens I can't really ink anything for now...just sketch. I do recall some pen that might work, it's a thick ball point. Plantman was just a sharpie...

Poor Planty, I cut his nose off! (I realized that it disappeared after I posted him...) Good job at deciphering the name Miyabi...I have bad handwriting.

I have artists block, so I'll be back in the corner trying to get rid of it if you need me -_-;

I drew and CGed a helmetless Forte over the span of today...It did help me get over the artist's block though.

I call it..."I hate ballpoint pens" I had to go over every single line with paintshop...

Wow that is a great team colonel pictue. It must have taking you a long time to draw that. Well I think It's really cool especially because you have Numberman in it. :]

Ok now that that's over with...I have something I made yesterday. Luckily I was able to manage to make the lines darker in Paint Shop, but I decided to just do a Sketch. (I'll save coloring for practice until I get better at it...)

Ok about the sketch...It looks like Chibi Netto isn't very happy about Teenage Meriu (still wearing the exact same outfit after all these years) ditching him for some mysterious stranger. It is kind of weird seeing as how the dude kind of looks like me and is wearing my navi mark...(shot! -_-; )

This is a drawing of one of the favorites out of my very large collection of fan navis. His name is Sketchman and he doesn't want to be friends! (for more about Sketchman see my fanfic...Enter: Black Crescendo...currently being revised with a shiny new [spoil:9e8a399d7a]Patch][/spoil:9e8a399d7a]included) I used some new shading techniques that I'm working on...Tell me what ya think!

Update at last!! MWAHAHAHA!!!!

I've had artist's block for quite some time...except for my Elecman pic which I'm too lazy to scan and color right now...so I tried my hand at an oekai? It ended up as Lan, but he looked really evil so I changed his color scheme to...Evil Lan! And yes, I did forget to add detail to the ear, and I shaded the black part of his vest bacwards...

Let's look on the bright side of things...I finally figured out the basics of photoshop coloring!! Expect Elecman to be here soon!

Just look at the picture. Burnerman.EXE is frequently referred to as The Rabid Cupcake around here due to his cupcake-like shape.
