Even though I just got my all in one printer, I can't draw. Well, I can draw but only when I really really want too. This is an evil contest that I would like to see the results. *images Enzan as a girl* I wish everyone best of luck! |

Hm, I might actually try this one. I have a good idea already. :] ( Remember, it's all about think outside the box. >3 )
But, it is okay if our entry is over 150k and we can't seem to get the file size down? I'm kinda worried that my pic will end up with a too-big of a size. ( But would something like 160k do? >_>; ) _________________ MegaMan Kilobit

A different gender drawing basically.
NARCY I SHALL DRAW YOU.
No, I really would like to enter the contest, but due to school and such, I won't anyway.
Although I am sure I'll have a good time watching the entries. XDD; _________________

I personally am planning on using notepad paper just to be safe. If it's just a profile drawing, that's all I need. _________________

I never was really motivated to enter the other Tri-Monthly Contests, but for some reason, this appeals to me. More than once I have thought of what RM characters would look like if their genders were swapped. xD If it's creativity that's being aimed for, it sounds like my kind of contest. Count me in. n.n

OH! LORDY LORD KNOWS I AM NOT SKIPPING THIS.
Eh, not that I'm that kinda guy, you know. Just that it's really funny to imagine how a storyline would change with a transgendered character, or just to think is forte spontaneously became a girl while rock was fighting him. Possible degrees of fun? Limitless. _________________ Hypothesis: Barrel > You

May I suggest a adding in a "People's Choice" award where we non-judges get to vote?
By experience, the people's favorite usually isn't what gets high marks from judgement criteria _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

I'd want to agree with NumberGirl on this one. And although the prize titles may have been decided, heres some to ponder:
Best Male to Female
Best Female to Male
Best Overall
People's Choice
Just a thought. _________________

Great Ra, guys, there's only one prize XD
The only bad thing about people's choice is people tend to vote on subject matter, or best skill, rather then best design at gender conversion. :/ it would be a "popular" vote, if you know what I mean. _________________

That's why it's called the "People's Choice" award
Of course, I'm willing to pitch in for this little award should you consider putting it up :] _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

Quick, everyone change their entries and make an army of NumberGirl's!! While the bribe...coughcoughahemexcuseme...potential extra prize is still available!
Some people like the little ego boost of a popularity contest! Even if it didn't involve a prize, it would be kinda interesting to see where the entries ranked among the community as a whole, no offense to our non-biased judges. A sampling of 3 opinions is nothing like potentially 100+, if people voted. I know there's always the issue of not wanting the lower placing contestants to feel bad if everyone is placed, but a people's choice vote on the top 10 or whatever would be kinda cool. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

We tend to steer clear of popularity contests in general. They tend to make the few "winners" feel good, and leave the rest feeling bad. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Popularity contest are more based on the art skill of the artist than the creativity of the design, which is probably the reason for our group of 'non-biased' judge. Am I right? _________________ MegaMan Kilobit

The contest was meant to be a test for creativity, not for popularity nor art skills. A person with 'lesser' art skills could be far more creative and come up with more interesting designs than a person that can draw and color beautifuly.
The winners often are picked up upon a certain criteria, such as the design elements. How creative the design is, how well was the original character transformed into its female/male counterpart, if the character is recognizable or if it looks with a random woman being tossed in, say Blues' armor.
It's many 'composition' elements that have nothing to do with one's ability to 'draw pretty' or 'color well', and definitively the judges will not center in wether or not the characters portrayed are their favorite characters or not.
Unfortunately, 'People's Choice' more often than not are based merely in the popularity of the character that's drawn or how the picture visualy impact the viewer, wether or not the design is original or 'well executed' in the terms designed to judge the contest. These contests are often a little 'unfair' in terms of 'judging'.
I don't think Ryouko would like to have to deal with all the problems of having to sort out two separate 'judging' processes and handle two prize deliveries, moreso when she doesn't have but one prize set in her hands.
I'd say, if people did want to make a people's choice awards, I'm sure you guys could organize your own version here in the forums with Ryouko's permission and handle yourselves the overseeing of the contest and prize deliveries. n,n _________________ Hecha en MÉXICO - Avatar by Me.

Good, I am reassured! ( Even though I figured so from the start. And 'non-biased judges' should've tipped me off too. ) Now I know mine might at least get an honorable mention. Maybe. *hint* Personalities might can when switch a character's gender, after all. >3 *hint*
By the by, good luck to all other entrees! :] _________________ MegaMan Kilobit
