Rockman Beast+ 25 (keep spoilers out of the topic, yes?)

Iris is on this episode. As you know, this episode is consider as the time repeat about Beast 8. Any one want to elaborate anything more about Beast+ 25?

Can someone delete this first post, because I post wrong facts about this topic? I don't like to double post. This is about Beast 8, but in addition to that, PET is replaced by cell phones.

That's true. Netto is trapped in the world, which we portrayed as real life with people [spoiler]with cell phones (replaced from PET), some kind of video game cartridges (replaced from battle chips)[/spoiler]. This is the world that is controlled by Cache. [spoiler]Also in the illusion, everyone (Meiru, Dekao, Yai, Tohru, Netto's mom, and Netto's Dad which you have seen) are now become something that looks like Jammingman.[/spoiler]

Acctualy, my take on this episode is that cache made an illusion where PET's never existed. (real life) As Netto started to snap out of the illusion, everything got more distorted. Faces where replaced by jammingman's and the solid objets were passable. When Netto touched his PET, the illusion dissapeared and a screen appeared in front of Netto showing rockman fighting jammingman... again.

Well, the obvious ode to the cell phone game was a unique touch, and no doubt a good marketing gimmick to boot. Sorta split on how I felt about this episode. On the one hand, yeah, the illusion was a nice idea, but again, it was too rushed and not drawn out like it could have been had it went for a full length episode. I don't have a problem with this art style, but at times, the heads just seem so inconsistent and, well, off. Yaito around the 4 minute mark looks like a doll. I think she shrunk even more when they got to Higureya. I think this art director excels more with the exaggerated facial expressions than anything, like in Netto and Dekao's school scene. Alright episode, but could have been better as a second-to-last eppy.

This episode was CRAZY! They had cellphones and no PETs and Netto started to freak out. The part when everything turned into Net was creepy. :eyes:

Well, i'm going to ramble on a bit :]
At first I was like... wtf... did I miss anything? I rewatched the ending of Episode 24 again to be sure, but indeed... Jammingman was defeated and then Cache appeared. Oh well, I figured this was okay and continued watching.

Of course it was immediately apparant that something was wrong when he noticed his Laptop and PET were nowhere to be seen. It felt a bit like that Card Captor Sakura episode where Sakura enters a world with no love. Everything looks normal but it isn't.

Then came Masa-san!! That was really a nice touch. And the art reminded me a lot of the first Original EXE episode, which was really good.

I also realised by this time that there weren't ANY computers at all. The blackbord (or should I say white) was also just a blackbord. And someone already spoiled Iris, but it wasn't really that much of a surprise anyway. Cool cameo, but that's it :p Oh yeah, and Yaito being there. I was almost gonna complaint that she wasn't there just before I saw her :p

I thought it was cool how he was trying to remember Rockman but couldn't. Especially when he was trying to reach out to his PET but it wasn't there.

Then the weirdness started when he sank through the floor O__o and people started changing into jammingman. Everything just turned weird :p And when Yuuichiro tried to open the door it kind of turned liquid... I liked that part XD dunno why... just seemed like a brilliant touch.

Now Jammingman was suddenly back O___O That, I think, was poor writing. Having him being deleted last episode, and now he's suddenly back. AND Cache had a growthspurt O__O And cliffhanger XD

THE GOOD:
I liked all the stuff that reminded me of episode 1. Also when we saw Iris, Yaito and Shuuko (you might think Iris and Shuuko would seem out of place, but they didn't at all. They could've fitted right into Episode 1 XD which was cool).

THE BAD:
Jammingman's sudden reappearance... Cache's sudden growthspurt... what's more? The fact that it all was so sudden... Oh well, maybe that was actually a good thing, which added to the coolness of this whole episode XD

WHAT I WOULD'VE LIKED TO SEE:
Saloma and Miyuki. They were just missing, but I guess the episode was just too short for their inclusion... Oh well maybe the DVD version is longer! (yeah... what's the chance of that... 1 in a million?)

Something that has been bugging me and just smacked me in the head just now is that the greetings in the beginning of this episode were way too standard, and slow. It was almost a dead giveaway that this was not reality.

When I was watching this episode, I made a comment at the very beginning about how Haruka told Netto to watch out for cars when he left the house. All I could think of was how, after 200 something episodes, that's the first time she's warned him to be careful on those skates. XD

Do you think Sendai Eri (Iris' voice actor) voice this Iris? It sounds like her but I don't think they will invite her back just to voice one "HAI" to Mariko-sensei.

Once i realilzed that the desks at the school were normal, then it all hit me. Very well written episode. Goodbye EXE, you will be missed by many.
