It's about time. Pony Canyon took their sweet time uploading the covers for 06 and 07 (which recently released yesterday, 10/18), and to make up for their procrastination, they also went ahead and uploaded the cover for the final volume of Beast, 08. Check 'em out; they're quite elaborate.
Volume 06 (w/Chirol, Kurohige, Circusman, Diveman)
- 16: Cooking is Love!
- 17: Fuuten Roushi
- 18: The Rock of Steel
Volume 07 (w/Kirisaki, Killerman, and Beyondard Masa (!))
- 19: Secret of the Lake de Aru
- 20: Dimensional Area Laboratory
- 21: Falzar Invasion!
Volume 08 (w/Netto, Super Cyber Beast Grezar, and Beast Style R-Rockman)
- 22: The Boy Called Death
- 23: Colonel's Rampage
- 24: Wily Laboratory
- 25: Exceeding Light
Furthermore, I earlier had fears that Beast+ wouldn't receive DVD releases or worse... DVDs would come packaged with Saru Getchu episodes. But thanks to Heat Man, we know the first volume of Beast+ is scheduled for a December release (while Beast 08 will release in November). Still no confirmation on how many episodes Beast+ volumes will come packaged with, but I'll keep you posted. _________________

Thank PETE. I was so darn afraid there would be no dvds for Beast+ (since, you know, I plan on buying them >_>;). The cover for Beast 8 is lovely, yes indeed. I so do love the design for Juuka Cross Fusion.
What the heck is Kirisaki doing? O_o; _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

Cool. Those look great. So since there's three eps on these do you think they'd have 6 beast + eps on a DVD? |

This is actually off topic, but any word on the Saru! Get You dvds?
Anywho, glad to hear Beast+ will be getting a DVD release. Though one must wonder how the episodes will be released... |

I can't see Beast+ being more than 3 volumes long. I doubt they will give us anything less than 8 episodes on a disc as they equal into 4 episodes. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

Actually, going by the standards of the other DVDs, they would include 6 episodes (which would equate to 3 normal-length episodes). And according to the page I just found for Beast+ over at Pony-Canyon ("printers" of the DVDs), the first volume will indeed come packaged with the first 6 episodes. (Still no cover artwork yet, but you can access the page here.)
Also, according to some digging courtesy of Heat...
Volumes 1 and 2 are due out 12/20, and Volumes 3 and 4 are due out 01/17.
The first three volumes will contain 6 episodes each (equivalent to 3 normal-length episodes), and the final volume (4) will include 8 episodes (equivalent to 4 normal-length episodes). Having more episodes on the final volume follows the trend set up by Axess, Stream, and Beast finale DVDs (all of which have 4 episodes on the final volume instead of the usual 3).
So, Beast+'s releases will go by really fast, meaning Ryouko can snag them and get some updated screenshot content for the site much more quickly. I'll keep you posted when cover artwork starts to surface...
And just in case anyone wants a list of the upcoming episodes on each volume, here you go. (It's interesting to note how well the story arcs wrap up for each volume. Maybe, finally, the cover artwork will correspond with the actual content of the DVDs. I betcha we'll get Zero and the Professor for the first volume, Chirol/Kurohige Cross Fusions for the second volume, maybe some Crosses or even Press/Dotarou for the third volume (since they never got covers for Beast), and then Cache/Jammingman for the last volume.)
Volume 1 - 12/20
(1) The Name is Zero
(2) Zero Virus
(3) Zero Invasion
(4) Sushi Factory Trap
(5) Zero's True Character
(6) Super Cyber Beast Again
Volume 2 - 12/20
(7) The Demon Deko de Aru
(8) Big Things are Good Things PUKU!
(9) Wishing Upon an Empty Can
(10) Cross Fusion de Aru
(11) The Electel Estate Situation
(12) Electric-Shock Exploration Party
Volume 3 - 01/17
(13) The Hole-Digging Rascals Have Come!
(14) Rampaging Mettaur
(15) Mini Mini Typhoon
(16) The Keeper of Law
(17) Virus with a Heart
(18) Zero's Soul
Volume 4 - 01/17
(19) I Want Limited Goods PUKU
(20) Iceman the Strongest
(21) Magician from the Darkness
(22) Substantiating Phantoms
(23) Jammingman
(24) Cache
(25) Searching for Tomorrow
(26) Netto + Rockman _________________

Hmmm... maybe I'll get teh Beast+ DVDs since there are 4 volumes. Then again, the ending sucked because it brought in some unknown phantom nobody without any backstory rather than gave us a conclusion to the Wily or Bass plots. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

What's there to conclude with the Wily plot? It concluded twice in EXE when he blew up and later failed as Gospel's new leader, he wasn't trying to conquer anything in Stream, (Beast/Beast+ spoilers) [spoil:dc3ddd0631]the Beyondard version failed in Beast when they defeated the Super Cyber Beast, he failed again when revived and defeated in Beast+[/spoil:dc3ddd0631]... Wily's been done. And Forte? He had no plot. He was created from Pharaohman's deleted data, and now he just wants to go around, getting more powerful and killing stuff. The only loose end with him is that "he'll be back" and he never was... There's nothing left to really wrap up other than just killing him, and that's unlikely. _________________

Wily is still out there though. Throughout Stream he was plotting something, even if it wasn't directly related to Duo himself. Bass should be destroyed while Wily should be put behind bars. _________________ Once I was Dr Kain, but I died and have been reborn as Gankutsuou. |

I thought I had a recent thread about MegaMan NT Warrior DVDs, but I can't find it, so I'm renamed this topic title so I could combine MMNTW information in here as well, and from now on, I'll just include all DVD updates (English and Japanese) in this single topic instead of making new topics every time.
Here's the latest information:
Japanese:
Rockman EXE Beast+ 01 and 02 are both due out 12.20.06. There's still no cover artwork available for either, but I'll keep an eye out for them. Both Beast+ 03 and 04 will receive simultaneous releases on 01.17.07 and will be the final DVD volumes in the entire Rockman EXE metaseries.
It's unknown when they'll start releasing Ryusei DVDs, but if the EXE release schedule is any indication, it could happen immediately after Beast+ 04's release (i.e., February). But, then again, since Ryusei episodes are shorter (and thus more episodes can fit on each volume, such as how Beast+ DVDs contain 6 episodes), and if they start releasing too early, they'll catch up with the broadcast. We'll just have to wait and see.
English:
MegaMan NT Warrior volume 12 (of 13) will be released 01.16.07. It contains English episodes 45-48. Also, the 13th volume will be out a month earlier (03.06.07) than Viz typically releases the DVDs. (They usually release on a tri-monthly schedule; every January, April, July, and October.) 13 will wrap up with the final four episodes of the dub, 49-52. Neither volume has been given a title yet, nor has cover artwork for either been revealed. However, volume 12 has a description:
Contains episodes 45-48.
Hot Tempers!
Mr. Match and TorchMan are fired up for revenge, and it's up to MegaMan and his friends to cool them down!
Don't Mess with Mama Zap!
Count Zap and ElecMan go back to the family home to take on Lan and MegaMan in the Mother of all NetBattles!
The Great Curry NetBattle!
Continuing their worldly travels, Lan gets a taste for curry while MegaMan has an appetite for stopping World Three!
Guess Who's Coming to NetBattle?!
Lan makes a new friend whose identity is a royal mystery!
Spoken Languages: English, Spanish.
Both volumes were found on www.rightstuf.com through www.animenewsnetwork.com. The Japanese DVD information was located at www.ponycanyon.co.jp (the "printers" of the EXE DVDs). _________________

I apologize for the double-post, but I wanted to boost the thread back up to reveal the cover artwork for volume 12 (which has been given the title "NetBattle"). Oh, and super-mega-cookies to me for guessing on a different thread that ElecMan would grace this cover. (Yay! Cookies!)
Also, a description has been given for the final volume, volume 13:
Contains episodes 49-52.
Chess Mess!
MegaMan and Roll take on KingMan in a NetChess Battle! Will they checkmate or check out?!
The Incredible Rush!
It's a feline frenzy when a cat virus turns the CyberNetwork into a litter box!
The NetBattle of Hearts!
All's fair in love and Netbattling when Higsby faces Commander Beef for the ultimate prize: Ms. Mari!
From Here to Revolutionary PETs!
When it comes to creating a revolutionary chip, it's up to ProtoMan to finish the job!
Spoken Languages: English, Spanish.
Still no box artwork or title for volume 13. Per usual, this information was found at www.rightstuf.com. Volume 12 also has an order page up at Amazon (which claims it's a "full sub," but they've made similar mistakes before, so don't trust it). Holla.
UPDATE: Today's a good day for DVD information. To go along with the revealed NT Warrior 12 box art, we have the first two box artworks for Beast+ Japanese volumes 01 and 02. Check 'em out!
It's obvious Ishihara Mitsuru isn't handling the box artwork anymore. (I wonder if there was a dispute with Shogakugan that drew her away from the series after Beast.) It's a little small to tell for sure, but this may be Adachi Shingo's work (since he seems to have taken over Mitsuru's role as "really good stock footage artist," especially for Ryusei), or perhaps the new artist who did the first Beast+ episode (and whose name escapes me right now; he/she did most of the stock footage for Beast+, including new slot-in/plug-in/Cross Fusion sequences). Regardless, the covers look good, but I have to inquire... why the heck is Wily gracing the second volume? _________________

Beast+ Spoilers?
[spoil:4de67a8337]
Cause Kurohige and Chirol meet up with Wily, don't they? With that whole Cross Fusion fiasco...[/spoil:4de67a8337] _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

Keeping with the + Spoils sorta...
Yep, these are really [spoil:25b6a79896]the only three episodes (8-10) Wily is in, at least where he has dialogue.[/spoil:25b6a79896] I agree that maybe Kurohige and Chirol play a bigger part in the episodes on this DVD and could have been on instead. (I would've put the [spoil:25b6a79896]mammoth Dive+Circus Copyroid and Bubbleman[/spoil:25b6a79896] on personally) Or if they wanted characters who hadn't been on a cover in forever (or ever), the Electel Clan would've been nice. Granted, they're only in the last 2 episodes on the disk. (Can't be a spoiler if it's in the title, right?) At the very least, Wily should be in his street peddler outfit rather than his WWW one, since it doesn't make much sense to see him like this again. But they are nice covers and to me they do look like the artist who did the first episode/chibi-ier henshins. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Actually, after further examining Rockman and Netto's faces on the second cover, I'm nearly positive it's Adachi Shingo. Compare it to his work in Beast+ 26; it's hard to explain. (Something with the space between the eyes and the headband on Netto, the chunkiness of the hair, the ears, etc.)
Yeah, I remembered Wily's role in those episodes, but as mentioned, for one, he's in the wrong outfit, and two, Chirol/Kurohige did more in those episodes than Wily did. I really expected the [spoil:a4787f3ee5]Cross Fusion designs for Diveman and Circusman[/spoil:a4787f3ee5] above all, but I like Rock Miyabi's idea (since Bubbleman hasn't graced a cover and, by this point, he's a pretty important character... or, rather, a regular). _________________

Volume 13's name has been revealed as "Cyber Clash," and the box cover features MegaMan, GutsMan, Roll, Glide, IceMan, and ProtoMan. Nice. (I'm most interested in the fact that I've never seen that IceMan artwork before.)
