Ryusei no Rockman 02: First Contact talk-back (spoilers)

I'm not sure why it is, but I just can't get into Heart Wave. It doesn't really appeal to me...

Anyways, I still can't get over this new character style. Luna is bearable, but Gonta and snob-squirt grate on me, design-wise and personality-wise. I do agree with Nenji/HiKaiser and Fabi that the animation is very well done, the smaller things like the hair movements do add a lot to the episode.

Likewise do I agree with Shak that Luna has Leganchor hair. *snicker*

I am satisfied with the two episodes that I've seen, however. They appear to be doing a decent job with getting the plot out and done with during the span of their nine-minute runs. Overall, I'm content with it.

Mr. Decaf, as ComicX6 calls him, seems to me like a pretty insecure guy. He'll probably be manipulated by the FMs in one way or another.

But the series is taking too long to develop! I can't take the suspense! *dies*

My theory is that if he gets possessed by a FM, he'll turn into a Narcy-type villian. Some people says it's impossible because he does not have any 'flair' but I think power changes a person enough to get enough 'flair'.

Well...my main reason for saying it won't happen is that at least for the games, the indication is that the evil FMs posses the host; I think Cygnus will be the one in charge if he gets FM'ed, not...Amachi stalking emo guy.

You know, I just barelt realized this, but Subaru's father's friend is the same guy who does all the explaining at the beginning. Yeah, that was a little random.

I think that Subaru's friends will grow on him, and us. They just seem one dimensional, just kinda like Dex and Meiru did at the begining.

Also, as suspected, the art direction is going for something similar to the DS's capabilities. There's even some type of cell shading...

Just give the series some time and you'll see. I'm sure Luna and the others aren't really as weird and flat as we first thought, just as Enzan Chaud said.

Speaking of which, does anyone now when episode 3 will be available for download? I'm getting somewhat impatient... >_< I feel bad when I get impatient...

The fact that people have been saying that certain characters in the show look to be stock, or discarded character designs seems to be likely to me for one reason- Mr. Emo/Coffee guy (the twitchy one who holds himself as if cold). I swear I've seen him before, perhaps as an extra in various Zero/ZX games? And yes, looking at the chip data for one NPC in ZX I see a character called Congre who looks like this man. I think that's interesting, that they'd use him for this.

I'm not sure if this was talked about but the characters, the style are very similiar to that of the old medabots show. Hell, even the main character reminds me alot of the one from medabots. Just something i noticed

I really don't appreciate getting spoiled like that. And that the whole FM-wave thing isn't anime canonical yet, so it might not even be right. Who knows, maybe they were squares and circles because the FMs are too far away.

Actually it's hard to say there's game spoilers, since we got the anime first and the only game spoilers we get are the ones from Coro Coro. >:

Personally, I consider using the games to try to predict the anime as a major spoiler, since I would not otherwise know such information if I did not follow the game spoilers in Coro Coro to that level, at least. As previously noted, it is a risky endevour too because of the differences.

So I think it was Warrock who was knocked out by Cygnus. And I guess that Cygnus fell into some other human[/spoil:e2fd9a10aa]
