I second that. Also a female friend of mine also recomends it. It's a very deep RPG plus it has sprites in the DS version but the full motion video.

I can't believe no one mentioned three of the four titles I have :<

Kirby Canvas Curse. EXCELLENT game.

Kirby has always been mindlessly addictive and the characters and stories cute. The use of the touch screen is fabulous since....Well, duh, it only uses the touch screen. The A, B, X, Y, Select, R, L, and D pad buttons have been murdered. The Touch Screen is used to draw lines that allow you to move the Kirby Ball in certain paths, Touching him has him dash, and the mini games are very intriguing.

And it's not unchallenging either. It's challenging for seasoned gamers and casual gamers. Hell, I was able to get 247 out of the 250 medals and I've been known to be "average gamer". The sprites and Backgrounds are BEAUTIFUL. The sounds, well, let's say you'll have some nostalgia as the tracks are all remastered, and you can use the old ones as well.

As well, there are four other playable characters besides Kirby.

Also, I'm not too sure if it has Multiplayer...

Anyway, that being said, I really love Kirby Canvas Curse :d

K. Next game.

Super Princess Peach. Great game.

Who said girl power sucked? This is a good game :d What can I say? It's Peach. Better than Mario...Wow, I haven't played this game in a while.

Anyway, the only downfall is that after you beat it the second time, the end reward of endless vibe kinda sucks...There's nothing to really use it on >< But meh, what am I saying. It's a good game overall, the boss fights innovative, the powers creative... Great game.

Ultimate Spiderman. YAH YAH! CG!! :DDDD Great stuff. The interface with Venom is kickass. I'd replay it just to pick up people and hit other people with them :d Spidey's powers are good as well. It's a fun title, and while I haven't played the multiplayer, ...well, I dunno much about it. Just no wifi multiplayer. Play with a friend thirty feet away :d

The only downfall to this game is that it was too short. I mean, not to say the gameplay was not fun or that the story was bad, because those were both good. There were a couple different paths to take, but it was truly a great game.

Although...Once you played a couple times, Venom's pattern was very easy to memorize. It was still a good game though.

I must add though. The artwork in this was wonderful. As well, the voice acting was fabulous. I really wish that there was a gallery where you could view the various pieces of art without them moving through cutscenes though. :d Still a lovely title.

Damn, I never expected my topic to last this long.

I ended up getting Sonic Rush and am quite pleased with it. Best Sonic game since SA2 IMO.

Next I'll go for ZX, and there is absolutely no way I'm not getting FF3. I'll also keep an eye out for Xenosaga when it's released stateside, someday.

Thanks everyone.

If you like the pokemon world, get Pokemon Blue Rescue Dungeon. It starts out kinda slow, but the plot for the game is really good. I know i may be the only person over the age of ten who still likes pokemon, but maybe that is just me. I would rate it a 9/10.

>.> A bit late I know, but if your a fan of either J-pop or ddr type games you might want to look up Ouandan. Granted, Beat Agents (same company, similar game, different music) is comeing out soon, but Ouandan has "Ready Steady Go" as it's final level. =3

Oddly enough, I've been noticing that a lot of the games that are on this list are conspicuously absent from the gaming stores I've been to. For example, I've never, in the past four months that I've been searching, been able to find a new copy of Advance Wars DS anywhere. My brother managed to find a copy (somehow) and I am eternally grateful for that. Other games I've noted missing are Meteos and AC:WW. Any possible explanation for this?

Oh, and for RPGs, you could always wait for the new Tales game on the DS. It may take a year, but at least it's coming.

OMG thread necro

Theres a decent amount of good DS games out. Kirby Canvas Curse, Mario 64 DS, Tetris DS, New Super Mario Brothers and Rockman ZX are all great games and well worth the money.

Contact came out this week, it's supposed to have the same quirkly humor like the Mother/EarthBound games so much so the localization team thought it'd be fun to make a giant enemy crab reference.

It must be the stores within your area, Middy. The EB Games right near my job has all three of those games in stock used, but I don't think they have any new copies left.

Probably because not a whole lot of people buy them. Not to mention how some of those gamers who demand intense and fast gaming get bored with games like Meteos and AC:WW.

Hey, Wind, Trauma Center: Second Opinion will be coming to the Wii, not the DS. Also, I'm very excited about Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Final Fantasy III, and Yoshi's Island 2. And Mega Man ZX was so popular where I live (East Texas) that our Gamestop and Wal-Mart sold out of the game within a week.

Once Pokemon Diamond/Pearl hits the states, go get it off the shelf. Haven't play it, but from what I have seen, it's full of goodies and many things that the previous versions never had.
