I feel real bad for using dark chips on rockman in bn 4... T_T His hp kept decresing by 1, and he finally lost it and went EVIL. He's back to normal now though... :/
But I will promise not use ANY darkchips in bn5... or ever again... but only on... special occasions...>XD(When I'm really big trouble with some viruses or navis)*Crosses fingers behind her back*
And to everyone else who thinks Chaos Union is cool... Don't use it unless you're a real master...>

Too late for me.. I know that your supposed to activate it when the charge gets big, but I didn't think that it would last that long...
On topic: I'd only use a Dark Chip if I had a Dark type navi, like Dark Mega or something. Otherwise, it would just be a waste of time and energy. The only time that I saw Dark Chips as a plausible battle tool was when I had just started playing Battle Network (I started with BN4, go figure) and was totally overwhelmed by guys like Videoman. But now I know better. And if you mean the Dark Chips from the anime, then I would need a DarkSoul-type navi to even consider it.
It's not just nobility; I have a habit of saving up my kudos, even if I never wind up using them. It happens in every game I play. |

| never a dark chip, not worth the power. If your not skilled enough to defeat the enemy with what chips you have, then you dont deserve to beat them, the concept of the darkchip is interesting but I wont ever use one. |

I can pretty confidently say that I would never use one, not just because I probably will have developed something of a bond with my navi, but also because it wouldn't exactly be convenient to have to start all over with a new navi when my old one ditched me or fell apart thanks to the chip.

Same here. Mine never ditched me but i did rename her because her former name sounded so stupid to me. I had to go on long with the whole naming netnavis after music thing ,but still no darkchips for her. Certainly no dark synchrochips cause i don't want to be evil.

I wouldnt want my navi to fall apart and fall to the dark because of my powerhungry actions.

I never used a dark chip in exe 4 or 5 and beat them. to tell the truth I didn't like the darkchips and there for didn't really care for them. I got them all just to have them all and to have the dark chip complete icon.
