I love the insanity and angles you used in the one you titled "Cordial Antics." Lil Napalm looks really cutesy. The other one is quite dynamic as well. Stay away from my fireworks! Great job with the hands, it's drawn very well. Well, they all are, but that's the most powerful one, in my opinion.

Yeah, I've thought the same thing about Nenji and young Tadashi's design. And possibly the same with Dotarou and that guy in Ryuusei with the hat...Amachi is it? Sounds like what you have planned will be hilarious.

Okay, I've been busy with exams and stuff so although I've been drawing not much has actually come out the way I wanted. Anyway here are my two contest entries.

My version of Colonel(ette), sticking mostly to the original design for this one but added some frills and attributes.

This one is of course, Nenji, because who else would I draw? He/she is going to do some fireworks displays at a festival so I dressed him/her up in a kimono as well.

Interesting. You totally tweaked them, that's for sure. Is female Colonel snapping her fingers to summon her little army soldiers or something? Hate to say I prefered the first sketch you posted of her before the purge, not that there's anything horribly wrong with this version by any means. Nice background work with the faded symmetry.

Like the unique touch with Nenjiette in the kimono. Bright and festive! The bandana and other ribbons flow nicely to go along with the little head turn and pose. Even if you felt a little rushed or frustrated, they still turned out nice. They might appear a little simpler in detail than some of your work, but your coloring makes them pretty appealing. (Not in that way! Lord, it's gonna be hard making comments that don't sound wrong on some of these. Smile

) Good job, HK.

Not bad, I was hoping someone would make try a female Nenji and you did a great job of making sure they weren't just Male Character A with a couple extra lumps.

I really like the fireworks coloring you did on Femji's clothes.

Thanks for the positive comments, I'll let you in on a secret too. The Kimono and Festival theme was inspired by Planty's lovely front page.

And yes Rock Miyabi, she's about to summon up some little Colonel Force Soldiers to shoot Rollman in the name of Love, Justice and of course, the Moon. Laughing

Extra tidbit: The base colour of the kimono is taken from the Beach Episode where Nenji is wearing a jacket over his boxers. The boxers also get a mention with the green and purple firework patterns on the kimono itself. The red and blue ones are simply common firework colours for the tie, well I just like the colour blue.

Those are pretty good. Girl Colonel really looks like a girl version of Colonel.
And Girl Nenji is obvious for you to do but it doesn't look all that bad. Nice work.

Impressive! That's the first Ryuusei fan art I've ever got to see, and a great one, too! The body pose and face style does all meet my taste.

Okay, here's some drawings I've done since I got back from China a few weeks ago. Having received accumulated Christmas and Birthday presents, I hadn't got around to serious works until recently and with the unfortunate incident a few days ago, I couldn't post them here.

Both are Ryuusei no Rockman artwork.

This one takes inspiration from both the Opening of the Anime, and the ending of the video games and the credits sequence. The center of the piece is Subaru floating in space, with his Rockman shadowed in a shot of Subaru's face.

This one is the Dragon Starforce transformation of Rockman, with the Satellite Administrator in the background. I plan on doing one for all three of the transformations. This is still lineart and I have yet to ink and colour it, the previous picture is likely to remain a sketch though.

Just a little bit of fun for Valentines Day. Nenji really forgot all about it, being the unromantic kind of guy he is (nearly Fireworksexual! Wink

) but matchmaker extrodanaire, Laika, told him to go out and get those flowers. Nenji got ambushed coming out of the shop.

Moral of the story: Duck and hide for V-Day. Nenji didn't duck. Razz
