Once the universe is properly defined. Most around here probably agree with me that Beast+'s major failing was that it was all action and no story.

I personally hope that Subaru's rival will be a girl.
After having Enzan as Netto's rival, it would be a nice change if Subaru's was of the opposite gender.
Also, for some reason, fans enjoy pairing up main characters with their rivals and these are usually yaoi pairings. Having a female rival might break this chain.

Come to think of it, I wonder if the anime/games will ever actually refer to Subaru as Rockman. There's no real need to since there isn't actually a character named Rockman (sorta like how I'm pretty sure the term "Rockman" was never once used in the Zero series except in the title)... The only thing I can think of is people dubbing this unknown super-hero as "Rockman" until they discover he's Subaru. Otherwise, the "Rockman" title may simply be there to keep the game attached to the franchise.

As I've said before, you know all of those discarded character design sketches (like almost everything in the "Secret of Rockman EXE" art book)? Those really odd, bizarre designs that pale in comparison to the finalized designs? It looks like the character designers took all of those designs from EXE and decided to use them for Ryusei. (I guess they missed the part about the designs that were DISCARDED.) There's very few designs so far that actually look good.
I still personally have my fingers crossed that "Mr. Antenna" is an anime-only character.

Yes. I'd like a girl rival very much. If only because it'd be kind of interesting. |
