I am guessing new, since in the trailer, you also see Wario doing crawling. _________________

you know they might end up adding more characters and stages in after the game is released, Ninty is really into the downloadable content thing now with new stages for zelda and maybe a multiplayer mode for MP3.
new stages and character for this don't seem that far out. |

We may get downloadable stages, but downloadable characters is a bad idea.
I'm sure that creating new movesets and character designs causes a great deal of stress on Sakurai and his team, and constantly making new characters would probably lead to deterioration of their work. So, I don't think it's a good idea. _________________

Character downloads are definately a bad idea. I dunno about stages but characters....Just no.
DoA 4 does it fine, allowing them to tweak character movesets if they really have to, but I guess SSB in general is nowhere near as complex as DoA. _________________ all i ever wanted was the world |

May I inquire as to the reason why downloadable characters are a bad idea? .-. _________________

It would be fine as long as they only do it once in a while, maybe to release limited edition special characters (like other third parties).
Zero Suit Samus appeared to do a Quick Attack as well. _________________

Well. It depends. If the characters are free, I see no problem with that, other than...where do you put the data for it? >_>

Onto the memory card, I'd assume.
Downloadable characters would rule, but only if done correctly. Throwing out a random new gimmic character every week would get old fast and not really add to the game. But what about extra characters they wanted to add in but didn't have the time for? Or maybe more 3rd party fighters? If the SSBB team treats downloadable characters just like secret characters (as in, fully fleshed out characters that are added to your roster after you've begun playing) however, then there are plenty of possiblities. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

It'll be cool if it's in a file format, and we can start hacking the data for our fan-made characters. XD; _________________

Nice, nice. Fox has gotten a new stance, and it seems like a new taunt? Wow, I can't wait what Falco will look like, I hope they'll put him back in. _________________ Star Fox : Command

Obviously, since Sakurai said he was either removing or reworking clones. _________________
