Havnt updated this thread for awhile because I have my exams next week so Ive been studying a lot-sorta. But I have a lot of drawings to make up for it!!

I have Pokemon fever now!! It all started when I was really bored and I found a video tape of Pokemon the first movie. Since I didnt feel like doing anything else, I watched the movie. It was great, I felt like a kid in kindergarten again. Then I felt like watching the rest of the other movies, so I asked some of my friends who had some of the movies and Ive watched basically all the english dubbed movies except for one. Since I have Pokemon fever, it would be obvious that I want to draw some of my favourites.

I think Scyther is a cool-looking Pokemon especially with those huge blades as arms. I experimented with a leaf brush in the background, so that was kinda fun.

Mudkip is so adorably cute!! Too bad his evolutions look crap. No new effects in this, just the same background as the Bomberman vs Sharkman pic.

I think I prefer May than Misty, shes a cool character. I think the effect with the white dots is okay-ish.

I love Totodile!! In the anime hes so animated and funny, I love watching him!! I just mucked around with the background without realising what I was doing, I think it turned out great.

Absol looks pretty cool and mysterious-like, I like watching him battle in the anime. I really like how I did the background, messing about with photoshop is fun!!

When I was in kindergarten my favourite Pokemon used to be Gengar. I have no idea why because I cant remember but I think it was only fair to draw him since he used to be my most favourite. Once again, I messed around with photoshop for the background.

Feraligatr actually does look a bit ugly but I still like him for some strange and unknown reason. I probably think he looks cool. The background in this drawing looks fantastic to me and Im still trying to figure out how I did it because I cant remember ><!!

My friend had a birthday recently and he really likes ninjas, so I drew a ninja for him. We like to act like ninjas in the night sometimes by jumping onto tables silently and when we see one of our friends we yell 'Ninjah!!' I think the leaf effect in the background looks great.

And finally a sketch of Colonel. I dont really shade drawings but it looks interesting so I tested my skills at it. I think Im okay but theres still room for improvement. I might do some more in the future coz its actually pretty fun not using the computer for my drawings.

You sure have been busy, haven't you. The ninja background is quite beautiful with the full moon and leaves blowing in the wind. The cluster of leaves on the branch look a little strange to me, probably just with how they're bunched together, since I'm pretty sure it's the same leaf slightly altered over and over. It doesn't look bad, it just seems a little off when you see a stem sticking out and not attached to the branch. Just being a little picky Smile

By far, that Colonel profile is one of the best you have done. Everything looks nearly perfect proportion-wise, you really did a great job with the pencil shading and it just looks so crisp and professional. Excellent job!

Thankies Rock Miyabi!! Yeh I agree with you, there leafs on the tree look weird mainly because the brush I used places the leaves randomly so I have no control over it. Dont worry about being picky, I like reading other peoples perspectives =D

Well Im still studying for my exams next week but im still drawing whenever I take a break from studying (I seriously cant study for more than one hour without taking a break =P) So im just gonna post up how im doing with my latest sketches.

I dont really pay attention to the names of these viruses but there are some that look cool. I think its good to start shading small things since I just started shading a few days ago. I think I did well in this picture but I forgot to rub out the line on the nose, so that kinda looks bad.

I think this is probaby the best one so far because it has the best shading effect and looks more 3D-ish.

Shadowman!! I think I did really bad in this one for some reason but I was sorta rushing because I needed to do something. Not the best but okay-ish.

Well thats it from me for now. Wish me luck in my exams and chillax!!

Wow, beautiful new updates. I really like the design for Powerman-exe.

I am really impressed, your backgrounds look beautiful and the characters themselves very detailed. Of your latest updates I especially like the picture with Scyther, the one with Powerman-exe in it at the bottom of page 7 and the drawing of Shadowman and the dragon-virus. But they look all great.

I look forward to your next update and I wish you luck with your exams. I hope everything will go very well and you get a very high grade.

Those pokemon look excellent- I especially like the Mudkip and Scyther drawings. The Dash virus is shaded well, and the dragon looks good too! Good shading on Shadowman too!

You had good choices for backgrounds on these drawings.

Well my exams are finally over!! But my arms are still tired from writing too much, soo tired -.-

Feeling a bit romantic for some strange reason but I made a picture with Netto and Meiru together. Aww..

Still got that Pokemon fever in me and once again I have drawn Mudkip!! I still cant believe how adorably cute it is!! I experimented with the background and got a cool water flow-like effect. I think it suits the drawing very well.

May is such a cool character, gotta love the bandana 8D. I sorta mucked around with the background the same way with the Mudkip background.

A Blues sketch!! I think this looks really cool, one of my most favourite sketches so far.

That Protoman (Blues) picture is great especial how you did the shading, it awesome. I think it would be cool if you did a Numberman picture like that.

Hooray for Axl!! This is one of my favourites that I made today. I also used a different outlining tool for the lineart in this drawing and I think it did okay with it. Some things look a bit strange though but I couldnt really do anything about. For the background, I took a screenshot from a game I have called Battlefield 2142. Yeh it came out pretty recently but I dont think its that good, I prefer Battlefield 2. Anyways, enjoy and chillax!!

I really need to learn how to color with photoshop...On any note, the pics are amazing! (Fastman will be commenting madly on the Numberman, I almost gurantee it).

Searchman's left eye does look a bit oddly angled. Also the Axl looks cool, I can never get the perspective when I use that pose...

Sorry for not updating but Ive been kinda busy making a video for something kinda important. I have a camp next week too so I wont be back until Friday..I dont think I'll survive XP Dont like camps..it takes me away from my luxuries at home.

Anyways, thanks Guardman.EXE, RT-fact, Fastman.EXE and Fragman.EXE for the comments, really appriciate it. Glad you like the Netto and Meiru pic Fragman.EXE. I use Adobe Illustrator for the clean lineart in my drawings and Photoshop for colouring, shading and doing the backgrounds in my pics Fastman.EXE.

This was just a quick sketch of Sharkman because I had to go to bed soon. But I think it turned out alright even though you can only see Sharkman's head.

Still got Pokemon fever in me!! I watched this episode of Pokemon Johto and it had Scizors in it and it was really cool!! It is one of my favourite Pokemon out there now, I really like it's claws.

This sketch took me awhile coz there was a lot to shade. Some spots could have probably been shaded better but laziness took over so couldnt be bothered fixing it up. Go Burnerman!!

I just finished this pic today and it took me awhile to do. This was entirely done in Adobe Illustrator and is also the first time I have never used lineart for a drawing. Well Im finally back from camp and it actually wasnt that bad. I'll probably write up a journal about it on my DeviantART later. Oh yeh, during the weekend my computer kinda broke down for some strange and unknown reason. Which meant I couldnt access my photoshop!! It was tragic because I havnt been able to use the computer all week because of camp. But some reason when I started the computer up today, it worked normally again!! Strange technology..

Anyways, I only have drawings of Forte today.

In this one with the lineart, I used the same brush as the Axl drawing I did a few weeks ago. I like using that brush because it puts some depth into it. Hope you enjoy it!! Also remember to enlarge it.

A picture of Rockman.exe and Roll.exe, I really like how I shaded Roll.exe but for some reason (in my opinion) Rockman.exe's shading doesn't look as good as Roll.exe's. Oh well, enjoy.

This was for my friend's birthday today!! She hasnt replied to me yet whether she likes the drawing or not, so I hope she likes it. She seems to like green tree frogs but Im not sure if I coloured the frog right.. And yes that is actual colouring with actual colouring pencils, I think I did alright.

I watched the first few episodes of Ryuusei no Rockman and I gotta say, its pretty good. I always thought it would be bad but I still gave it a chance to prove to me that it was actually good and it did!! I then drew this but I dont think it looks very good.

Even though Ryuusei no Rockman is a good anime I cant believe the episodes are like 10 minutes!! That sucks!! You also have the opening and the 'previously last time' stuff too which takes away 2 minutes which means an actual episode is like 8 minutes, oh wait theres also the ending credits..

Anyways, since I wasnt that satisfied with my last drawing of Ryuusei no Rockman I did another one. I think this one is a lot better, especially since you can see the whole body. I really like the background of this drawing too. Enjoy, chillax!!

Howdy. Sorry for not commenting on your last pictures, but here goes nothing!

I admire the work on Forte (picture 1) and Ryuusei no Rockman. Very decent effects, I have to say. And about the Rock and Roll sketch; these are good, but they strongly remind me of the official arts we have in REO. Was your sketch made by off-model work?

While I haven't said anything in the past, RT brings up a valid point, Powerman. Even though you draw pics in your own style, when you are directly drawing official images or screencaps, drawing them exactly as you see them, you should make that known and give credit where it is due. While there is nothing wrong with doing so to help improve your skills with proportions or whatnot, it's better to make clear what's really your own original work and what really isn't. People with a good eye can catch them. There are more than those RT mentioned that I'm pretty sure were directly drawn, specifically ones you just left as pencil sketches. But not everyone is going to know that, either. So you probably should state that in the future.

As I mentioned on DA, I liked the background you made for the new Ryuusei pic. The first one was angled a little oddly, but you did a good job with the full body this time around. The tree frog looks good, I like it's feet. Nice work.
